Yeah that's kind of where I'm at. Might be around a year after release before I pick this up this time.

Thought I would finally get some of the modern Star Wars comics after I tried the legends series. Currently waiting for the Doctor Aphra omnibus to get a price drop but until then I’ve got the Charles Soule Darth Vader omnibus coming today and I heard that was an excellent run so I’m looking forward to reading that.

The 4th Thor volume got a surprise discount so ordered that along with the Harleen HC I've been interested in

How’s everyone doing in the storm? So far we’ve lost two fence panels and from the sounds of the racket above me I’m expecting to see a few roof tiles gone by tomorrow.

I know he was recently allowed to start using Rhodes again but was it not all of it?

I’ll just never understand why he keeps going back. Vince loves screwing over the Rhodes family and I can’t see this being any different.

BvS is your typical Snyder movie really. Impressive at times for the spectacle but then when you try to look past that there's nothing there. At least we got an awesome introduction to Wonder Woman out of it

Kind of surprised given that they helped create AEW but to be honest they've barely been used for a while now and when they were it wasn't exactly must watch tv. Be interesting to see where they go next.

Ok last omnibus for the month. I wanted to try and get back into DC after struggling so much with New 52 and I’ve heard great things about this run (along with reading a small part of it)

Yeah I binge watched it last week. Thought the Ireland stuff was maybe a bit weaker but the first 3 or 4 episodes were some of the strongest they've put out in years.

I ended up buying the two omnibus'. I do like the idea of complete runs in omnibus format.

I suddenly fancy playing Xpert Eleven again. Anyone interested in bringing the league back?

Thanks. I'm just debating whether or not to buy the 2 omnibus' (now that it seems to be becoming a bit of an obsession for me ) or buying the 6 Complete Collection trades.

@Hero-of-Time you buy the Injustice comic right? Do you know if the entire run has now ended?

Yeah that’s what was making me wonder as I’d seen trailers for those other elsewhere. Just looks like one I’d like to play on the Steam Deck.

Wasn’t actually planning on ordering anything else until maybe the Infinite Crisis Omnibus got a price drop but I saw Thor Heroes Return Omnibus on Zavvi for the ridiculous discount of £150 down to £29.99 so figured I just couldn’t pass it up.

Edit: ended up switching out all of those Hickman Avengers books (decided I shouldn’t just try to force myself to like Hickman’s stories because everyone else does!) and went for the Spider Gwen omnibus instead. Quite liked the idea of a nice, self contained story that I don’t need to worry about getting sequels to. Plus if I’m getting Ultimate Spider-Man, Miles Morales & Spider Gwen omnibus then that’s quite a good grouping. The only thing that’s a shame is that I would have preferred the alternate cover but I obviously had to go for the one available.

Ordered a few more with birthday vouchers.
