Been paid so ordered a few books along with my Annihilation omnibus preorder that should come through next week.

Other than the impressiveness of the 3D I didn't think much of the first movie at all. I'm not planning on watching any of these sequels until they're on some streaming service I already subscribe to.

Close, well fought match between two clubs at the top of their game. Touch and go there at the end but I think we just about deserved it.

Really wish they’d hired a better child actor to play young Picard this season. I found him so distractingly bad in this latest episode.

Always heard great things about this Vision run but never really looked into it. Figured as the complete collection was a good price I’d give it a try.

I'm hoping AEW get their UK plans back on track soon. They had announced plans for UK shows just before the pandemic hit so hopefully they'll get those sorted again. Only ever live wrestling show I've been to was a Rev Pro/New Japan one a few years ago but that was great. Kinda wish I knew the wrestlers then like I do now because I had no idea who people like Okada, Sabre Jr, Osprey etc were and probably would have been a lot more excited 😆

I hate the wording used in that offer as well: What the fuck does that even mean??? "As a sign of fair-play and sportsmanship"! This is a kid watching a football match that he basically assaulted, not a player on the pitch that he mis-timed a tackle on!

Any other industry and he would be fired for this. There needs to at least be a ban and not just a fine that he won't even notice.

Really hope Ronaldo faces some proper consequences for slapping the phone out of a kids hand and breaking it yesterday after the match. Such a petulant child.

Bored so thought I'd post an updated look at my collection since I had to move the DC stuff to seperate shelves.

Well according to the Steam Deck calculator webpage I should be getting my preorder email roughly around 13th June. I don’t think it’s been updated for the recently announced increase in shipments so that’ll maybe put me in May if I’m lucky. Not surprising really, I’m lucky to have a Q2 date as it is after Steam took around an hour to tell me my first attempt at ordering had failed due to an error so I lost all those places in the queue….not that I’m bitter 😆

Well that just almost reduced me to tears of joy…

Great, now I want to play Sonic Adventure again. Might have to add that to my Steam Deck list.

Looks like we’re getting a new Monkey Island game

Managed to get a few more books on the cheap. I’ve never read Planetary but as it’s always high on “best ever comics” list I figured I should give it a shot and as for the others, I do love me some Godzilla.

Yep I’ve managed to finish both of those. Doctor Aphra was really good, probably my favourite of the new Star Wars books coming out under Marvel now. It maybe lost a bit of the more fun side of it about half way through but still a great read overall. I hear good things about her next series as well but now I’ve got this one in omnibus I’ll have to wait quite a while before the next one comes so they match on my shelf! TMNT was a good spin on the origins of the Turtles and the series is another where I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. Im sure I’ll probably get more of the volumes down the line but I’d be lying if I said they were high on my list.

Swapped out Darth Vader omnibus for Fantastic Four vol.2. I’ve already read quite a bit of that Vader run so it feels like it can wait and with vol.2 of FF that’s the entire run collected.
