Marvel finally announced the Inifinty Saga boxset. I was originally planning on getting it but $550 for that just doesn't seem worth it.

I’m just finishing off Dynamite at the moment and think it’s been a great show. First time in years that I’ve been able to watch a weekly wrestling show and not feel the need to fast forward. While I do agree that you’d hope this kind of stuff will force both companies to produce better products I have to say that even if the WWE did improve a hell of a lot, I still wouldn’t be watching them. They’re just a dirty company that doesn’t deserve to exist anymore. All the Saudi stuff especially has soured me on them so much that I’m completely done with them. They’ve got a load of very talented wrestlers so I hope I can see them elsewhere someday where they will actually be used well.

First episode of AEW Dynamite is up on the ITV Hub app if anyone is interested in watching. Sounds like they beat NXT in the ratings.

Going to attempt to learn some C# and this book seems to be highly recommended for beginners.

I've cancelled my Stadia preorder. I still think its an interesting idea but without knowing what kind of exclusive games it may get, at the moment it just doesn't feel like I need it. I'll get multiplatform games elsewhere and I'm already signed up to PC Game Pass and soon probably PS Now so games that I might not buy are accessibile to me as well.

I really hope that it's just a bad trailer because that focussed way too much on Harley Quinn and the other Birds of Prey seem pointless. At the moment it looks bad to me. To be honest it never should have been a Bird's of Prey movie as that's not a Harley Quinn thing. Would have been much better as Gotham City Sirens with Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Catwoman.

I might sign up now. Better price and more games sounds good to me. I try to be a bit more careful with the games I buy this year so it'd be nice to have another way to try the games that look interesting but I don't necessarily want to buy. I have no issue with them cycling games on and off the service. I'm not buying the games so I don't expect to always have access to them.

What phone?

I asked a year ago if there was a possibility I could go full time at the school, boss told me we could discuss it at the upcoming one on one meetings where job roles were being sorted out. We have still yet to have those meetings and everytime I bring up the fulltime stuff I get told to wait until those damn meetings. I'm just done with it now. Even if I got offered fulltime I don't think I'd take it. I've had such a shit week with staff going around me after I gave them the answer they didn't like to another IT guy despite the stuff not being part of his job (thankfully he backed up what I said) and just the constant complaints we get that something won't work right, even though they bought systems without consulting the IT department or having any real plans on how they want it to work until after they bought it. This latest one being a sign in system for staff where the staff sign in bit isnt reliaible enough and doesnt split staff into categories for fires etc. Something we could have told them if they'd bothered to talk to us first. The reason I've stayed here for so long to be honest is fear. I was unemployed and unhappy for a long time and I'm afraid to go back to that but I'm just reaching the point where something needs to be done otherwise I'll be just as unhappy either way.

Have you had a chance to try VR at all?

I should start on a new retro rpg soon. Might go with FF3 (6) on the Super NT. I got quite a few hours into it years ago but dropped off and it is one I'd actually like to play all the way through.

IT (1990) & IT (2017) First time watching either of these and I really enjoyed both. Probably the new one a bit more but that’ll be because it wasn’t bogged down yet by the adult sections. I think what I like the most about both of these versions though is less the horror and more the Stand By Me type story with the Losers Club. Both versions of Pennywise were great in their own way with Tim Curry’s one being able to show a lot more personality and Skarsgard’s being a lot more creepy and animalistic. Looking forward to getting Chapter 2 when it comes out on Blu Ray. Moving onto Halloween now. As most of them aren’t easy to get in the UK on Blu Ray I’m just gonna go with the new continuity and watch Halloween then Halloween (2018). I’ve seen most of the others anyway other than Resurrection and the 2 Rob Zombie versions.
