I disagree, I had more fun with XII than X. Xs story, world etc. not for me. I've gotten into it before but don't feel like doing it again. The battle system is plenty fun and engaging though. I just had more fun with XII I think. Honestly they all have their merits and shortcomings. Even XIII trilogy can be fun in their own way.

Objectively the original reimagined System Shock 2 from Space Sci-fi to underwater sci-fi. Right down to some of the plot twists.

The toxicity of pre-order culture. Don't want to cannabalize possible preorders for other systems when they can likely release it later and successfully double dip. That's my guess.

Well fuck. Ordered this off Amazon, it arrived and now I see that I've been sent the EU version instead of NA. The biggest thing that makes me hesitant to just playing anyways is if there is DLC I want I would need to get a European PSN to purchase it then. If I understand things correctly.

I'm on HDMI 1 and when the TV and PS4(pro) switch to HDR mode most of the settings become locked. Like brightness becomes locked at max, and so do some color options I believe. Black levels can still be fiddled with though.

Last night while watching Netflix I went to turn on my controller to pause the show for a minute...long story short neither of my PS4 controllers will connect to the console even while plugged in and charging. No time to troubleshoot today though so maybe tomorrow :/

Definitely Horizon for me. Honorable mentions going to Tearaway Unfolded (super cute) The Order (linearly beautiful) Dark Souls 3/Bloodborne both have a certain visceral beauty to them in my opinion.

I got lucky on that one I guess. I just charged into the pack of them and they ran towards me not away (which I've had happen more than once.) and into the middle valley of traps.

I blitzed through and got gold in all the hunting grounds in less than an hour, of course I was end game gear. Only a couple I had to do more than once and only one I think I did more than twice.

Yeah, wasn't that all Year 1 though correct? I've had a few times I've lamented not having elements on a nice primary.

Jim Sterling was absolutely glowing about the game from the bit I skimmed. (26 endings whaaaat). He gave it a 9/10 straight up called it art, and his conclusion paragraph was he would want budding game developers to play the game to completion. And that's all I skimmed.

I forget why I dropped out of playing this. Probably OT or something, oh and waiting on the patches to the endgame. I tried going back to it a few weeks back and had a hell of a time. Now post Horizon (though vastly different games) I think it'll be even harder to go back and finish.

Completed. That final mission...wooo. I feel like now I should go and actually play Killzone Shadow Fall. I did the first mission and just wasn't feeling it and now I feel I owe it to Guerilla to give it a real chance. But first, gotta go fuck up some grazer dummies.

Neat. Never played the original but watched my friend play it occasionally. All I remember is kicking people and starting fights. Wait.....nope. That was Radiata Stories. I did read an LP on Radiant Historia, and I'm really puzzled why a system that is backwards complatible is getting a remake of the game. I'm not seeing the point.

Nah neither of them are big deals. One was just commenting on my earlier suggestion, and what he didn't put under tags is just a name. You learn the name the same time you get the exposition about it. 91.56% done. And like 50 hours (an amount of that is idle time while I do dumb shit on my phone).
