  1. Waddaya mean? Those countries don't state visit themselves*, this is probably why the kingdoms are in such a disarray, instead of proper diplomatic relations they're busy playing go karts and tennis n' shit. Even if one of the rulers is one horny dinosaur, everyone should put some effort in. *although they do
  2. Well we already have 4 Princesses with Peach (inc metal form and cat form) and Daisy, 6 if you include their baby forms, 8 if you consider Rosalina a princess. 1 King Koopa (2 if you include Dry Bowser)... Koopa kids if you consider them royal too... 1 King Boo... What's a mayor between royals neglecting their duties?
  3. Finished it last night, that was a tense final! @WackerJr - if it helps grease the wheels for the Aussie one, there's only one task that is repeated from the British/US series (the art heist one, which is a little different and the lasers move!). They all do their tasks in red tracksuits like they're The Six Million Dollar Man, and there's even a psychic on the team!
  4. I've not played tour so didn't know there were so many left to potentially choose from! I'd be all for Captain Toad... Random thought, Olimar, to get in after that Pikmin 4 hype has died down
  5. I only remember her because I remember her being such a greedy bitch when she could've won straight away, and saying she deserves it because she was there from the beginning. Trying that "I saw it first" bullshit makes me want no one to win out of spite!
  6. Forgot about this thread, from the Netflix one...
  7. It kinda is. I'm about 4-5 episodes in, and the challenges are completely different to the UK and it's piss poor clone US remix. So a huge improvement and worth watching. This time they compete for "bars of SoLiD sIlVeR", and for some reason the producers appear to be of the mindset that legal minds are best. About a third of them have law related jobs... Does it have any benefit? Watch and find out. @darksnowman get in on the action, @killthenet and @WackerJr. You too Going to your previous point about the US one... I don't know about the second season, but winner deserved of first? Hell naw.
  8. The Australian version has appeared on the iPlayer... Now to see how much it copies...
  9. Ok, I shall admit I have hit.some difficulty. Did Poké Ball and Great Ball of Prime Cup with barely any difficulty. Had only 1-2 Pokémon faint in 16 matches. Then went for the Petit Cup, mama Mia. Had to use one continue on one match and blasted through 5 more in the final. Luckily I did make a save state beforehand and went back for another round. But I did it! But I do start to see some of the issues people may have been mentioning...
  10. You could've used Gab, that was ah'mazin' ¬_¬
  11. All the agrees. Except I didn't find myself underlevelled, Actually more than enough for the Elite Four but failed once due to some sneaky move action on their part. I think they didn't think about the execution properly here. In practice an open world Pokémon game could be fun, but I think they made it too open. Plus the environments were plain as fuck, open fields and caves that generally went nowhere most of the time. The main killer for me was approaching somewhere and watching the animations go from jerky to fluid very slowly. Or in the background during cutscenes. It also made the smaller towns look stupid by comparison. Having a "town" or "city" in the older games consisting of a Pokémon Centre, Pokémart and about 2 other houses excluding a gym felt more normal because most RPGs had this sort of thing going. Now having a sprinkle of houses in the middle of an open field just makes me wonder how this stuff got built (this has extended to the older games too, an airport?! c'maahn) I think if they did something similar to Arceus (which I think I preferred but they're a little too different for me to compare properly), with smaller connected environments and not a hub town and pick somewhere - a bit like Skyward Sword but less shit. I imagine if they scaled up Red/Blue for example, made Viridian Forest a big size in relation to your character was, kinda like Xenoblade's world, would be a far better game.
  12. I'm gonna give it a miss for the moment. The interface on Instagram is horrendous, doesn't give me stuff in order, shows me random people I don't follow/care about - Twitter does that too, but it's not as much of a hassle. I'm just not down enough to warrant having another social media account for something, especially when I barely Tweet as it is.
  13. Fine... I'll go do all the cups... @Glen-i - it was quite easy most of the time, you just need to pick a few wild cards for the pre-leader trainers who don't have the gym-type specific Pokémon. And a willingness to go for a lesser stage because their attacks are better. Graveler over Golem for example.
  14. Gym Leader Castle complete For the Elite Four/Rival I went with what I used to play, except swapping out Mewtwo for Alakazam because you can't pick him. Previously I tried not picking my originals, but a few got used a fair bit. Big up Dugtrio. I failed I think 4 times, once against a bloke at Blaine's Gym, then against Blaine himself (but I had a state save just before him), same against Giovanni (Ge-Vanny). And lastly against Lance, who I didn't have a save state for so had to go through the other Elites, but they were pushovers. Oh, and check out this great swag I can't use or even get
  15. I've done zero looking into this, because I feel you guys can answer/expand it better than a finished review. My last recent Final Fantasy was XIII, which we all know sucked balls with its corridor action and bland-ish story/combat (I didn't get very far). Does this return more to the open world exploration stylie?
  16. If it comes out over here and they're not going to bring Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon on the Switch Online... I supposed I'll take it!
  17. I had one of those! We only used it to play Gradius III though. It was the Freeloader of its time.
  18. I got frozen so many times, I had to rely on Goombario holding the fort for me. Then the fucker healed himself. I had to rush to the FAQ to check on a strategy, luckily it said he could only do it twice, which the fucker did but I managed to tough it out. I liked Watt against high defence stuff because the others weren't as good, although I probably favoured Bombette more because she could affect multiple enemies. I was so hoping I could multidonk a boss with Goombario, but my record was 10 and that was against a Piranha Plant. I'm still toying with what to play next. I did start Phantasy Star as I was feeling a time suck RPG, but naturally other stuff came and took over. Strangely enough I've developed an urge to play Links Awakening again. I'll see if I resist.
  19. It was aaalll a dreeeaaammm That's one nice house, mine is a bedroom, kitchen, and mainly weapons rooms to stock the nice looking items. It's all out in the open and you have to climb to get to one of the higher floors.
  20. I don't think I got that badge, but I was on 30BP and 55HP (because of a +5HP badge), but I was having some attack/defence up badges. It's just that the boss before him, The Crystal Long, nearly wrecked me. I'm talkin' one missed attack away from defeat. So I was expecting a tough time. Big up Goombario, dude was amazing. Update on my Pokémon Stadium Gym Leader Rampage... Took on Fucshia City Gym and made Koga my bitch.
  21. Is the hand at the end meant to mean something?
  22. Flights / Campsite / Lederhosen for Oktoberfest. I did enquire with many friends if they were interested in going, alas unfortunately was met with a few refusals and mostly silence. So I'm going solo. I'm sick of using my annual leave and just monging about at home (or usually doing a big clean of floors etc). Wanna get some culture n' shit. A shit-ton of beer wouldn't be so bad either.
  23. Completed Paper Mario this week, a nice enjoyable game overall. Final Bowser was a piece of piss, which felt a bit weird as I had some tricky battles previously so piled up on some recovery items and never needed to use them.
  24. Finished the new season of Black Mirror a few days ago, the verdicts: And have now been sucked in by Battlebots, which is what Robot Wars used to be before they stretched out 3 battles over an hour
  25. When that Dracula face appeared I went "Oooh, a new Castlevania?", Then this appeared. It reminded me of a mix between Robotron and Gauntlet. However I couldn't see much in the replay value, get the big weapon and orbiting thing and anything that comes near you dies. It doesn't seem all that fun. Am I missing something?
