  1. A little, but I'm tempering it. I'm hoping by going in nearly 100% blind I'll end up enjoying the magic more, and if I'm not exploring I worry the majority of my time will just be crafting weapons by sticking something heavy/large on a stick like object.
  2. Resist. Mine is apparently coming between 2-3pm today, I'll be at work but have put it to deliver to neighbour if not in. So I'll knock on their door before I get to mine if I get the delivery email.
  3. Will believe it when I have it in my hands. I trust not the words of these hacks! Can I get an amen.
  4. Just got the dispatch email, fingers crossed for a today delivery as the wife is at home and can accept... wishful thinking perchance.
  5. I wouldn't say start immediately with Z, but if you're not willing to go balls deep and watch it all, I would cut the first. I have gone back to watch it as a prequel series type thing (as I started with Dragonball Z afternoons at 5pm on Cartoon Network), but have slipped away from it so haven't watched it all.
  6. Mine was "in the warehouse" yesterday, so hoping for a dispatch today
  7. Not even a "it'll probably be second half of 2023..." tease. So we all thinking 2024?
  8. Fucker beat me to it. Not to be completely outdone I went trawling through other games... Minish Cap has Deepwood Shrine. Boom.
  9. The bold bits are one of the reasons I've not watched any of the preview/"I've played 20 minutes"/trailer dissection videos, because it'll be full of needless speculation bullshit and unnecessary ejaculation, which would serve only to bring me up before the game inevitably will let me down. I remember watching first 10ish minutes of Breath of The Wild played out where you meet the old man, and the mystery made me go "oooh" and tingly, but it eventually faded away when it just became going to 4 points to do a thing (which after the first Divine Beast revealed it to be the same thing just 4 slightly different ways), with some small puzzles dotted around an even larger landscape devoid of much. I can see the fusion thing being fun for a bit also, I hope it doesn't rely too much on it, although depending on the weapon grab/durability opportunities I may have to. EDIT: @drahkon - how much do you feel the fusion rips off Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts? Because making a hovercraft/car out of tat was the first thing that came to mind as soon as I saw it
  10. Y'all gonna be flocking to the reviews to spoil even more?
  11. I recommend Outlaw Star as a superior form of Cowboy Bebop (music being the exception), And Seven Deadly Sins, just standard fun. I agree with Julius about Your Name also, amazing. Don't bother with Bubble. I think I'm gonna have to rewatch Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, because I remember it dragging much more than 60ish episodes. I think I spread it out over too long a timespan and things got lost. I'm doing it right now with Demon Slayer, which I did get confused with Goblin Slayer, which was much shorter. Worth a look though. If you want the main series, I'd go with Dragonball (approx 150 episodes), then Dragonball Z (about 290), then Dragonball Super (130). It can be a bit daunting though, so maybe just drop the original Dragonball, even Z as well.
  12. Watched the first episode last night. Very enjoyable and funny. And educational as it teaches you how to maintain form. @Beast I know you'd be feeling this. I cannae find a version with English lyrics on work Youtube settings... SIDE-A-CHEST-O
  13. Unfortunately @darksnowman I couldn't do what you've done. I know there's going to be the exploration and I want to go in as blind as possible with regards to quantity, it's the *quality* that I'm going to be wary of. The main question is - will it be able to beat Fenyx?
  14. I'm glad to see we're on the same page. I've also been keeping my expectations extremely low because of how boring Breath of The Wild was, I wasn't going to make that same mistake again. It was Nintendo's greatest betrayal. But I'm pleased to see someone who disliked the first is enjoying the second
  15. I think I only came across it when just looking for something, then got the teeny rumble. Most of the time you can see them, but it's a nice lil hack so you don't have to traipse through it again.
  16. Just a curious thought popped into me head - Do you use your sight to signpost the chest in each Vault? I didn't till at least halfway through
  17. We only had them on easy, but it still shocked me, when I used a Boo against them it took 21 coins, I thought it was doing a light mash so I thought that was quite a good result. When they used it on me I'm hammering away like I was playing Track n Field, and it took 26-28 from me! Fucks.
  18. I finally got round to playing a Mario Party game... first time ever. Was playing with 2 other peeps, so had a CPU 4th player. Did Pirate Land in which the CPU won on sneaky endgame stars. Then gave Mystery Land a try, in which the CPU won again, because it hit 2 mystery blocks and got 2 stars a couple of turns apart right at the end... Is it always this jip-py?
  19. Is that the one on the (I think?) bottom left of the map, probably one of the hardest bitches in the game. Even with all my anti flying stuff and crotch shots it took some time.
  20. Ignore this, was asking about Dabo but spelt it as Dabbo
  21. I don't think I did a single Lyre challenge, maybe the first as it was right nearby the harp, but I couldn't be bothered to memorise a tune then whizz over wherever. I liked the constellation challenges more, and the calming music when you do the arrow challenges There will be a thing where things to find for switches etc are very close (like rocks to Deku circles in that boring Zelda rip off of this game), I think I did the exact same thing as you, and when zipping away I saw it, lesson learnt. One upgrade I would try and get is the making a statue clone of Fenyx, helps with switches a lot, and for attacks having your bird pepper the enemy with fire. Don't bother with the snow until the end, will be your last zone.
  22. Because the "light novel" of Overlord is still going on, there isn't going to be a new season for some time, most grating... it ended on a... I don't want to say cliffhanger, but shit is definitely going down. Next on the agenda - How Heavy are The Dumbbells You Lift? because I'm all about gains.
  23. How is that a spoiler? Blasted through the last 6 episodes over the weekend. It was nice to see the gang back together as we all knew they would. I feel the villan and big bad lost their way towards the end.
  24. I watched Dungeons and Dragons Honour Among Feeves yesterday. I've never played it before, so I know there will be some references I missed, I recognised a few place names, especially Baldur's Gate. And a great homage to the cartoon gang. I went in with zero expectations, so wasn't disappointed. It wasn't all that bad, generic fantasy action/adventure movie.
  25. Shopto took my money months ago, sneaky fucks. I'm hoping this means I'll get it super early
