  1. I'm not that big a fan/spiteful git to purchase it full price. My brother was more the Potter fan. I've always seen it as a rip off of Discworld's Unseen University
  2. It doesn't surprise me in the slightest this. They should have their asses sued for even calling this a "remaster"
  3. She has to be making that shit up just to troll people surely?! I sure hope so.
  4. I've had to leave a delightful (meh) meme group on the Facebook because of this game. Don't like JK? fine - but they've gone out of their way to spoil the ending (which I've forgotten because it used names I wasn't familiar with), to ruin it for those who are playing it. Condemning those who want to play it, because buying a game which is linked to someone who has been slated for transphobic material obviously means you endorse their views and as such you should have your enjoyment ruined. It's almost like what happened earlier this week with the trans lass on Only Connect. I've been half tempted to get this out of spite. But I'm too cheap and currently obsessed with buying book nooks.
  5. After years of waiting... And to prepare for lé concert
  6. You son of a bitch. I'm in. I'm saddened I didn't get to experience Lufia II properly, I got the DS remake which turned it into an action style battle game, which just feels weird
  7. I'm one goron off, and I can't be arsed to look for mysterious walls anymore, I've got 3 bottles anyway. The black darknut nearly handed me my arse, then they spawned more so I left to recover, did a few more fusions, got remote bombs. I'll head back in tomorrow
  8. I don't think it's the visuals people are complaining about, it's dat scrilla homie. I do love how Nintendo do this with their Directs, or if they give you a date and it's like "arrrgh so soon", as opposed to the old days when things were drip fed. Now with the interwebs it's best to not let anyone know anything until POW, surprise release motherfucker. I initially edited with a comment asking if Samus always glided like that, then it got addressed in the video. I first thought he'd done some mod/hacking to get some sweeping shots for his video, but alas it's how it looks normally. Kinda unjarring.
  9. Worst than Tokyo Drift? [I've only see that one and the first]
  10. I mean it was a fuck you in a good way, Farore did get a house, she was the only one I could offer one to from the off. Second went to Nayru, then I realised Din would be slumming it for life. I'll see what I can do, I've just been put into Dark Hyrule Castle, so I'm thinking I've past the point of no return. And I never got enough Gorons in that cave either
  11. When does the pacing pick up? because I've only just pimpsmacked Thor and it felt like a slog getting that far.
  12. I assume the company doesn't have anyone else that could review this game who likes the Potter franchise? Even if not I wouldn't have expected a glowing review from this chap.
  13. I replayed them last year when I got them again with my remaining DS e-shop monies. Great games, although heart goes to Ages more. For some reason the secret codes weren't working for me when I tried starting a new game. Looking at some FAQs some areas were meant to be different after the code, but when I got there, they were the same. Small meh's which didn't need to be put in anyway. So I forgive them. I'm going through Minish Cap again now, it feels like a new game because I'd forgotten all about it. I can tell afterwards I'm going to forget about it also, it's good whilst you're in the moment, but nothing really stands out (apart from some of the music) that I know will be something that will stay with me. Except for the giant fuck you they did with the Goddesses getting a house in Hyrule Town. Fuck Kinstones though. Excited to see Golden Sun on the big screen, probably the RPG I have completed the most along with Tales of Symphonia (which I'm currently not getting the "remastered" because it's a shitty port of a PC version)
  14. Cheap?!* When I first heard about this (after realising it wasn't the trilogy), I was thinking around the £20-25 mark. As much as I enjoyed this game, it's not a £35 reinvestment one for me. *Maybe by Ninty rip-off standards aye
  15. Bring Donkey Kong Jnr back, he's had a good rest
  16. When would you say this game ramps up? I've only done 2 missions - just beaten Goliath - and maybe it's because I haven't played a Devil May Cry game before so I may be missing out on some stuff, but it's just not clicking. Bayonetta had more freedom I felt, this is currently small corridors to groups of enemies, does it open up to some exploration?
  17. You'll probably hit more progress than me and my sax. And I've had Benny for about 6 years
  18. I will get round to watching this, but is it worth waiting for it all to come out, or just watch naow?
  19. I saw the first episode of Dahmer, I thought it was halfway through the Saga of his killing reign... Holy shit he's pulled this dude, oh he's gon' fuck him up, shit the police are here, he's going to have a close call but escape... Oh he got caught and it's all a flashback?! Fuck that. The Recruit - I wouldn't bother. It starts out promising with a dude who likes to jump in head first and he's going to prove his worth, but instead his character is like one of those annoying children you tell not to touch something, touches it and then wonders why people are angry with him. Plus it affects everyone around him as he swans around complaining. You almost forget about the Russian mob bollocks they trundle out with it. Ends on a "cliffhanger" too, but you honestly run out of shits to give at that point. Treason - I liked this, but seeing Charlie Cox in several seasons of Daredevil, it's weird watching him actually look at people. I'm currently working through Kaleidoscope, a heist drama which apparently can be watched in any order, so long as the episode of the actual heist is last, so you see the before AND after the heist, which feels really strange as the only episode I have to go *is* the heist, but knowing the aftermath is unusual - especially as some of it is left rather open and leaves a lot unanswered, and it's not one of those which you think they'll make another season of to carry on (which is the right call here to not make it). Naturally I would recommend watching it in a more chronological order as it makes a shit ton more sense and there's no real twist if you watch the earlier ones later (set 24 and 7 years before the heist), they add important context. EDIT: Just watched the final episode. Again, since you know the aftermath it doesn't really do much as opposed to in other heist things like Hustle, where they'll snap back for a short period, a whole episode seems excessive.
  20. Sadly not the actual one (if this doesn't load as an image is because getting the link blows on a new phone) but tickets to see Delta in Birmingham in May
  21. I watched the final last night. Not a total surprise, but well deserved I think. The missus was in tears at several points... classic wife. I agree about Tom, I'm sure the Jennifer tactical vote probably sealed it for him, a bit of a dick move, but I would probably have done the same thing were I in a similar position. I always cringe at the videos from home segment on any show. If they've been away for more then 2 months, they can get a little misty. Anything under that, pipe down on those waterworks. Although if something I heard from the beginnings of the original Circle, was that before they went into the Circle flats (or maybe in them and then hammed up their "entry" for the official start), they were living in solitary for a couple of weeks beforehand, probably to judge if their minds could handle it - which if true is still under a month and fall under the "stay dry" protocol. Thoughts on final?
  22. I'll say this about the US final...
  23. He seems to dial back the Scot as the series goes on, at the beginning there are R's rolling all over the place like he's trying to be Billy Connolly, but coming to the end he seems to sound more like you hear him on Good Wife/Instinct etc Plus some missions are missing, or appear to have been made easier coz 'Merica.
  24. There is a US version of this on the iPlayer, same location and tasks, but hosted by Alan Cumming who (even though he is Scottish) puts on a horrendous Scottish accent
  25. I've never played a Devil May Cry game before, what would you liken it to? Something like Bayonetta?
