I was one of the people that wasn't particularly a fan of last weeks episode (or the one before). I was fine with the destination but thought how they got there wasn't right. Due to this I came into the finale with low expectations and have to say I actually really enjoyed it. Complete contrast to how I felt after last week - thank god it was this way round!

I’m pretty sure Witcher 3 was buggy as hell at launch and received a pretty big patch fairly early on? It has definitely received multiple patches over time to improve the inventory, that was pretty bad when it first came out! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Seriously, we haven't had an honest chance to catch the new Gen 4 Pokémon yet! We just had a community day for Mamoswine, and then a mini event for Clamperl and its evolutions. Shieldon, Cranidos and a few others were released a few weeks ago and a number (if not all of them) are available in eggs. Shiny Latias event has just finished and a Treecko community day is coming next month. I don’t really see much to complain about over a two day event which includes the release of two new shinies, it’s not like it’s lasting for a long time!

No idea why it returned, never been able to put a label on what caused it in the past. I thought it may be stress triggered but the last few weeks have been the least stressful for me for a long time! Went back into the hospital on Saturday, as well as dislocating my shoulder I have also fractured the socket. Next up is an MRI to determine the extent of nerve/muscle damage. I've been signed off from work for four weeks so don't have to go back until mid Jan but pretty sure I'm gonna do a phased return before that as my shoulder starts to get better, otherwise I think I'd go pretty crazy. Also doesn't help that I'm a single point of failure for one of our main systems so if I'm not able to provide any support for four weeks then that could cause problems!

So my epilepsy decided it was going to make a dramatic return today. Had a seizure this morning and dislocated my shoulder in the process! Spent a couple of hours in the hospital and it took them two attempts to pop it back in - bloody painful experience! I'm now at my parents for a week or so whilst I recover. Silver lining though I get some time off work and don't have to buy my own food for a week

I’m moving house Went to see a room on Sunday and got a message a few hours ago saying it was mine if I wanted it. Hopefully moving on the 20th so it’s all happening pretty quick. Will be going from a shared house with 5 other people to a slightly larger house living with just the landlord, who seems like a really nice guy and likes his games and movies so think we should get on great. It’s also slightly closer to work. Just cannot wait now and am already planning on what to do with my room

It’s all well and good for Mourinho to complain about the board not supporting him and his wish for a new centre back but let’s not forget that Bailey and Lindeloff are both his signings. It’s not like he has inherited a brand new defence, he’s got the board to buy players and then later kicked up a fuss and started saying they aren’t good enough and then complained they won’t buy him more!

God damn that video brings back memories - I must have watched it so many times when I was a kid, remembered pretty much every section

I recently completed this again, was waiting for the PS4 Pro patches to finally be sorted. My initial plan was just to breeze through it on easy to get through the main story and then properly dive into the expansions which I had never played before. That was until I realised that as I had downloaded the Game of the Year edition it didn't have any of the trophies from the standard edition. So I replayed it on Death March and platinumed it again (I have three platinum trophies, two of them are Witcher 3 ). I think I totalled around 170 hours once all was finished. This is definitely one of my favourite games of all time, possibly number one and the expansions just added to the love I have for it!

So I just read the interview and all I can say is that tweet is ridiculously sensationalist! He said they're having discussions about it internally and then goes on to say that he feels this is an issue that also needs to be dealt with industry wide and that he hopes discussions with Phil Spencer and Microsoft can continue. I don't think the player is offside in your example. If the defender makes a deliberate attempt to play (not block) the ball and it then falls into the path of an attacker then he will be onside as it is effectively the defender that has passed the ball to the attacker. As far as I'm aware anything that happens leading up to the defender playing the play is ignored. I remember something similar occurring in the premier league during the last season where there were debates about whether a goal should have been given or not but the touch from the defender was an attempted block that took a slight deflection into the path of the attacker. As it was an attempt to play the ball (e.g. pass it to another player) the goal was rightfully ruled offside. Admittedly I haven't seen the Germany highlights so can't comment on that specific example but from your description it sounds like it was a deflected attempted block in which case it would still be offside as far as my understanding goes. Edit: Just watched the highlights. Absolutely right that the goal stood. I thought from your description that the only German touch has when it went through the defenders legs, but it was Tony Kroos who clearly and deliberately played the ball through the other defenders legs.

Whilst I like the look of this game I think that press conference showing was really poor and hasn't hyped me up at all. The music in the trailer didn't work for me - it seems like they tried to sync it up with gunshots and explosions but in the end they just ended up bastardising a great song. They then had the Q&A which I wasn't a fan of. They talked about how there were four different javelins but then only discussed the scout and colossus which seemed really weird. I think they should have just focused on one aspect of the game rather than trying to talk about lots of different things and in the end not really saying anything at all.

It's actually Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Makes the name work a little better but the whole announcement was still pointless - just wait until you actually have something to show!

Okay I have to ask, what is with people changing their avatar to some sort of toiletry brand logo? Have I missed something? And to stay on topic, I think this is a terrible idea and the worst possible console to try it on, even if it's playable at home over good wifi the second you take it somewhere and try to use public wifi you would have no chance of it working.
