I had the same issue! Ended up using two inclines one space apart and then having a 5 wide path narrow to 3 as it approaches the entrance.

I think I sent you an empty letter as well, took 2 fossils out to send and then still had one left after sending two letters

I have a potential high of 612 later in the week. Still took the 475 though - anything above 400 and I'll take it, not that fussed about getting the absolute max possible.

If you try to leave when other people are in a conversation (e.g. selling/buying at the sop) then it will inform all other players to end their conversation so you can leave. If they don't end their conversations then it starts a timer, if the timer reaches 0 then you will leave but it forces the instance to reset to the last time a save happened. So any chances are lost. If you're trying to leave then you should never let the timer hit 0, you can cancel before and then just try and leave again.

You let the timer run out when you left which meant it reset the instance for everyone else!

I've time travelled and have the upgraded shop I've only done it because of the stupid incline/bridge build/demolish one per day limitation (why can't you build and destroy on the same day?!) and the fact that I've moved a building somewhere only to find out that it's one space too close to where I planned to put a bridge. Fuck knows I'm not spending two days to move it one space to the left (again, why do they have that limitation where you can't just nudge it over a space?!), especially when in those two days I could be moving other buildings I want to relocate! I do love this game, but some of those things really annoy me! I think they should just have scaling costs, so 50,000 bells to move a building, but if you want to move a second building it would cost another 75,000/100,000 bells. Put some excuse about having to hire extra resource to complete the request in time. That way if you have the money and want it done quick you can.

I got the best friend notification just as I got back to my island on my way to yours for a fourth visit - promise all I'll do is take some red lilies! Edit: Need a ladder! 5th trip incoming

Is there anything I can bring over that you need? I have spares of all the fruits and loads of spare fossils (all the yellow ones on my row are the spares)! I also have cosmos, windflowers and tulips in my shop so could bring some seed.

It doesn't need to be raining for the Tuna or Blue Marlin, I haven't had any rain yet and have caught a few of each. Pretty sure it's just the Coelacanth that only appears in the rain at the moment.

The trouble is Nintendo need to sort their shit out in terms of cloud saves for ALL their games and have a way to easily switch between using the ‘Home (pro)’ version and the handheld. Now I know this is exactly what the original is, but if it was seamless between the two then I would seriously consider selling my original and then picking up both a Lite and a home (Or using the original exclusively as a handheld). Animal Crossing is a great example where I’m regularly playing in both docked and handheld modes, so whilst I would jump at the chance to get a more powerful switch if it was TV play only then I would give it a miss.

Is there not anything that can be done about the daily spammers this forum has been getting recently? Not sure how it would work, but it’s not like these are subtle bots!

I am completely against people charging real life money, but I have no problem with those asking for entry fees of in game items. Last week I went to an island that was asking for 300k, considering I was going there to sell my turnips for (roughly) 2.5 million I had no issue with this. If I don’t think the turnip price is worth what the island owner is asking then I won’t go, but I’ve never seen anyone asking for more than 300k or a couple of gold nuggets/nook mikes tickets (not saying it doesn’t happen though).

I wondered what happened, I had just sold all the turnips and then suddenly was back at the airport and had to do it all over again!
