Pretty much all "VR games" are the ones that come with the labo kit. There are a handful of games outside of that that can use the kit, but you can't play the full game that way (nor would you want to). From the top of my head I think that's Mario Kart, Mario Odyssey, and Zelda Breath of the Wild. Perhaps a few others. If you want VR you'd better look elsewhere.

"adult" may not have been the right choice of words. "Serious" or "non family" perhaps..? I dunno. I googled a list of "adult" animation, and it was depressing for the most part. Including things like Fritz the cat. Some of the examples I was actually looking for included Anomalisa, which i didn't realy like, and Persepolis, which I did really like. I was also reminded of one film I have yet to see and actually still can because it's on Netflix, which is J'ai perdu mon corps. Yeah me. At first glance I liked it for the most part. Haven't played much yet.. I think around 2 hours at this point, but now I'm starting to feel less enthusiastic about it. I'll need to play much more to give a proper judgement, but so far, like you, I find the actual platforming a bit off. Though that's minor. I feel like the bigger issue is that I don't think the roguelite linear structure actually adds anything. I think this game would have benefited much more from a traditional metroidvania map. Currently I've done the starting sections a few times, I've now seen the first real boss for the first time. However each repeat, unlike some other roguelite exceptions I'm into, like Hades, I play exactly the same way as the previous run. I treat it as a melee platformer, like the messenger for example. The game also discourages exploring, even though it's actually an essential part of the game. You need to find permanent upgrades which allow you to explore other parts of the same section. Which is a pain because the game encourages speedrunning,and because of the random generated maps. There's no point trying to remember map layouts. Well, there is to an extent as far as I have experienced, but so far I don't bother. Having now reached the first boss once, I'm annoyed I have to repeat all previous sections again to get another attempt.

I didn't know about it. Apparently there were no devil axes in the radiant games, and in three houses they work differently. Don't think I've used them there actually.
