  1. Great part that was. Clarkson and all his mirrors, idiot. "Well, we tested it fully for you. We placed it in the road and a lorry ran over it".
  2. I would feel sorry for anyone called the above, for a while! If i ever have kids, well if it were a boy i would name him either Timothy (Tim for short), Malcolm or Michael. If it were a girl, then i'm stumped because i havn't thought of a girls name.
  3. If i had a scanner, i'd scan the ticket as proof. Would take a pic but it isn't clear enough to see the price unfortunately. I was quite surprised as well at the price i paid to get in, usually pay about £5.50 for a ticket. It was an early bird special price though. Anyway, just bought £60 for the whole lot.
  4. Ah, i still got 7 days left of mine. Go back on the 5th January. I spontaneously decided just now to stay up and see how much Lee Evans i can watch in one night. Starting with Live in Scotland right now.
  5. I liked how they each bought a present for each other as mates should do really. And that lovely "American" style bike complete with music.
  6. Days been good. Decided on not doing the cash count today mainly because i am on holiday and can't be asked really. Spent much of the afternoon in the pub before coming home and browsing Youtube. Just finished watching the Vietnam Top Gear special. Pretty good i thought, nice of each other to buy a present for each of them.
  7. Special is on in about 10 mins, i shall be watching.
  8. Blu-Ray is best when using a 1080p HDTV because it gives the best possible picture available, as long as a HDMI cable is used. Even on a standard TV with a CRT or a non-HD LCD TV, it is still an improvement over a standard DVD with its upscaling capabilities.
  9. I tell you what, popped into Newport today mainly to see Yes Man in the cinema and a mooch in the shops afterwards. Numerous shops were crammed with people, GAME had a queue to get into the shop at 2pm, mostly because the shop was crammed. Gamestation similar to the point of no moving no queue. HMV was hard to find anything as usual, good job the Blu-Ray section is out the way so easy to find. Staff were all rude in all three of these shops, do you see why i shop online these days. Not only is it easy, but there are no rude staff and you find what you want minus elbows.
  10. No idea who she was what-so-ever, but still R.I.P
  11. Bought the following Ticket for Yes Man - £3.80 Best of R.E.M - £6 Hellboy II: The Golden Army - £17 (Blu-ray) Too lazy atm to post pics.
  12. Apparantly, i look like all of these
  13. Yes Man Stars Jim Carrey as the man who says "No" to all until he learns the power of "Yes". Now that is when the movie gets interesting and funny at the same time, not that it isn't interesting at the beginning or anything. Quite a brilliant movie full of laughs throughout. 9.5/10
  14. Name the one thing that can be compared to George Bush's ego?
  15. Never heard of this guy until i watched Red Dwarf, when one of his plays was mentioned. Still, a talented bloke all round. R.I.P
  16. Had a great day today. Got loads of nice stuff for Christmas, pic in the Christmas thread of everything. Had a great dinner earlier, stuffed myself with Turkey and all the trimmings and tonnes of sweets and chocolate etc. Watched A Sharks Tale earlier while half falling asleep then watched Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Ware-rabbit. Now chilling out watching Top Gear: The Challenges, of which is fixed and plays each challenge beginning to end before going onto the next one, the earlier DVD messed this up and played 1/2 challenge of one and moved onto the next one.
  17. Merry Christmas everyone, better late than never is what i say.
  18. Stuff received for Christmas Thought it were easier to take a picture than to write it all down. Edit: The Top Gear box-set i got has the fixed Challenges DVD, so no more moving onto the next one halfway through the current challenge. Edit: Not pictured was £140 cash presents.
  19. More bad news for the economy. Only hope for Zavvi is for Branson to re-buy them.
  20. Spent half the day catching up on sleep, been tired as of late mainly due to the late nights and drinking i've been doing. All presents are wrapped up, cards are all written now just passing the time until the Christmas Eve party at the pub at 8pm until late.
  21. Happy Birthday the pair of you, have a great day. Just before Christmas as well, nice.
  22. It was when Rouge Squadron II came onto the GC was when we saw what the GC was capable of even in its early days. The game itself was brilliant, flight controls and firing was amazing, when in cockpit view it made you think you were controlling the vehicles for real. Even III was a good game, a small let down was the on-foot sections but they were still good.
  23. Sorry to hear Raining. Thoughts are with you and the family. Day 2 of my 2 week Christmas break has been ok, been visiting my Nan up in Abingdon today, was nice to see her again. Havn't seen her since the Summer really.
  24. 1: Fable II First RPG style game i've played, and it is brilliant. Still playing it now as well, quests are taking up most of the gameplay so far. 2: Banjo Kazooie: XBLA It was great to be able to play as the bear and bird duo after a long wait this time in HD and in 16:9 aspect. 3: Mario Kart Wii Finally, a proper Mario Kart title (minus the DS version) where online play was capable on the big screen.
  25. My purchases this weekend Years license for Kaspersky and Registry Mechanic. (£40) £0.70p
