It would be a good idea, but as Gizmo mentioned it wouldn't be beneficial to the game because all the counters for notes and jiggies would be messed up and some of the levels would have to be re-worked and/or redesigned to suit the game. That would also include Gruntys Lair. Which would bring onto some points, where would the jigsaws for Gobi's Valley and Click Clock Woods go and would Mad Monster Mansion be replaced.

I think you only get a making of DVD, and a few in-game bonuses including a weapon, new dungeon and a spartan armour in the style of Master Chief. The DLC pack comes on December 12th if anyone is interested according to Gamespot UK

I'm annoyed. The HDMI port on the 360 has decided to stop working. I thought it was the cable, but after testing it on the Blu-Ray found out it wasn't that. The AV cable still works, but i can't play with a picture looking that crap. Its all blocky and stuff. Edit: Seems ok now, for some reason has decided to work.

Can't be forgetting about Letty can we, tut tut Anyway, welcome back Jamba. It's been a while. May we be blessed with knowledge once more.

This weeks episode was a good watch, nice to see a race without Clarkson involved for a change.

That would of been a good idea, i did like the Chesty mission from within Brightwood. And the results of each mission from behind the door would hopefully reveal a worthy prize.

I was expecting a lot more from the demon doors than just an item. Ok, so the Oakfield door was on the lines of what i was expecting. The other ones i have opened (Rookridge, Bowerstone, Bloodstone) weren't exactly the best.

Just a bit, my mate was round at the same time and he laughed while i was shocked a little. Already had the Oakfield door open, so may move the family within them walls.

Drowning under the weight of so many great games!
Jimbob replied to flameboy's topic in Other Consoles
There are an aweful lot of great titles out there. The past couple of months i have purchased NBA 2K9 Smackdown vs RAW 2009 Fable II Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts Prince of Persia (on pre-order atm) And not to mention the VC/XBLA games as well Banjo Kazooie Earthworm Jim Sonic 3 Even though that is only a small list of titles, that is more than enough so far to keep me ticking over. Just time to look at next years titles. -
My day was good so far. Was planning on getting up at 9:30am, but ended up waking up around 11 or 12. Spent some time with my mates, got my Lee Evans DVD back which i lent out a few days ago, and now got to lend it to my parents. Darn it. Now getting ready to go to the pub for a night of pool and jukeboxin as it were.

Just took the long trek to Bloodstone through old Oakvale. Would of been nice if it was a fully functional town again, but still it looks quite good and lots of hidden treasures to be found within. Also opened the Bloodstone demon door and thought i found a great place for the family to live, but alas not to be. Finally bought the Brightwood Tower and Rookridge Inn after a long wait. Both are good purchases.

Days been good. The free Blu-Ray disks arrived today from Sony. These were Casino Royale and Batman Begins. Spent some time in the evening on Fable and Banjo Kazooie before taking part in the Mario Kart tourny earlier on. And now watching one of my favorite movies and spending time online.

Once again, MS assume people with high gamerscores are cheaters. Why don't they try something different, like question as to why the score is high. This chap won't win this, so no point in him carrying on with his case.

To answer the original question, to be fair the Wii hasn't exactly lost the hardcore gamer. Yes, some have sold their Wii console and moved onto the 360 or PS3 consoles exclusively, others still have the consoles just gathering dust in the corner somewhere while the other consoles get more attention. Other gamers, like myself who is classed as Core own both a Wii and 360 and/or PS3. This is to get the best of both worlds as it were. There is nothing like being able to buy say Animal Crossing and Fallout 3 for both consoles while others can only buy one or the other as they have one console and miss out on the other title. There are great games out for the Wii at the moment, ok so titles like Wii-music may not appeal to all same goes for the party-style games, but there are people out there who do like these titles thus buying them and increasing Wii sales. These titles like Wii music, Wii Sports and Wii-fit are innovative and great titles to play. I for one play Wii sports as a break from the realism of games like GoW and Fallout 3. 3rd parties don't release AAA titles on the Wii because of the sales of these party style games i believe. They released titles like Hitman on the GC to a poor reception, so these sort of games don't get released on the Wii because they believe that these titles will not sell well at all, thus causing a loss to them. Ubisoft are one for not releasing top titles on the Wii, after all it is this company who release a port of Two Thrones with new controls, call it a different name and expect people to think it is a new game. If gamers bought AAA 3rd party games on the Wii that are already out now, this might make these developers think twice before releasing say a new "party" or "mini-game" style title. We may see titles like Fallout 3 come out for Wii. Even Ninty can't release non-ports to the Wii. Twilight Princess was made for the GC, so it had GC style graphics and GC style everything to it. It was ported over with new controls and a 16:9 aspect ratio screen display etc. And what are they doing now, re-releasing more GC games with Wii controls and probably going to sell them for high prices. I don't think most gamers will buy these titles, unless they don't already own them on the GC already. Or if they did own them, may buy them again for the experience or something like that. Ninty have a great console out there, but the control style is so simple that even an OAP can pick it up and play. That is roughly what Shigsy and Ninty said themselves i believe. This generation is mainly for the casual gamers or for people who don't do gaming as it were and some of it is for the core/hardcore gamer to keep them "with it" as it were. Yes, the Wii has a lot of party games out there., but it also has great titles like Mario Kart, Brawl, Wario Land, Galaxy, Sonic, Red Steel already out there. And the ability to download and play more classics via Virtual Console Sorry for the rant, but i for one am keeping the Wii because i know one day there will be titles for the Wii that even the core/hardcore gamer will want to play. Believe that.

The day i had in work today, seriously i could of walked right out of there. Everything went wrong, i got blamed for the lot that went wrong and for stuff i didn't even do. I even got blamed for something that should of been done on Monday when i wasn't in. And now that working day is over, i needed cheering up. And there is no better people than friends and/or lisa. But as neither are available, Lee Evans will do perfectly. I cannot stop laughing, i had to pause the DVD just to write this down. This guy is a frigging legend, and i've already asked for his boxset for Christmas.

Umm Words cannot describe the Eurogamer review. I smell a nutcase or a fan of one particular series i.e. Halo. Because he has no clue what-so-ever. This is a classic with the majority of original features inc Stop n Swoop.

Finally finished the Spire for the first time today, boy does time fly. At least the benefits of returning for me included Oakfield and Westcliff. And my kid grew up, and thinks i am the best thing since water.

Well i'm having one of them days in work today, quite a bad one in fact. So i remembered something came out on DVD the other day, so how better to cheer myself up that to watch my latest purchase £12 from Tesco.
