  1. Not a lot in August thenPoor wallet Out of that list, got Sonic Mania and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy ordered.
  2. You can still get subs for sub £40, so i'd stock up as subs can be stacked up.
  3. If only they fixed Just Cause 3's frame rate issues, i'd be right back on it.
  4. It sucks, but what can you do about it. Only sure fire way is to vote with your wallet and not pay. I honestly thought it was an increase as they were adding PS Now to the sub, but it's not. Luckily i bought a sub on the e3 sale, so i'm good until 2018.
  5. I use Flikr, seems ok as a host for images.
  6. First of the unreleased levels has released on PSN, this one is Stormy Ascent. Free until August 19th i believe.
  7. Decent opener, wasn't expecting too much to happen. I still think The Hound is one of the better characters in the show. Sheerans cameo (if if can be called that), he stood out a bit. And was bland in comparison to the extras they had next to him.
  8. I'll be editing this post once i get home to add some photos. There's a new school being built right by the old Comprehensive, so a few people organised and advertised what was to be the biggest reunion of former pupils before they tear the old Comp down. So, decided to pop along and see what's what. Was certainly nice to be able to wander around and rekindle the good (and some bad) memories. Even saw one of my old mates taking various things, he said it was all going to be thrown out so help yourself. He had 3 beakers, a Bunsen burner and a lab coat. People were writing on the walls, doors and all the boards they could find just in case anyone they may have missed would see it. They had memory books for people to write comments in. For me, what was quite nostalgic was when i returned to my old form room after 16 years. Was in the room seconds when some of my old classmates came up, and one of the old teachers also. Certainly bought back memories, and a tear. It's not that i don't see them anymore, it was just nostalgic. It's a shame it's to be torn down, but then it was build in the late 50's (total of 3 additional buildings were built, 1 has gone to make room for the new school. And the newest building is also the most unsafe, so no-one went in after someones foot went through the rotten floorboard. The new school opens in September, the old school starts to be demolished later this year. Some snaps
  9. Just informed of my £18 a month pay increase, which if you take out the pension and tax contributions works out at around £12. Yeah, got to bless the 1% pay cap.
  10. And that is Fallout 4 now complete. Apart from some radiant quests for a faction or two, and a few side quests, it's mostly done. Probably spent a good 200 hours just wandering the wasteland, exploring locations and collecting junk to construct the settlements. Not bad for my first Fallout game, but overall i feel this could have been a better experience. I've heard Fallout 3 and NV are better games, so i might dig into them down the line. With Fallout 4 done, might go back to playing Elder Scrolls V and see if i can finish it this year also.
  11. I think it's Japan only servers shutting down, that's what i read also. Probably means it's not too long before other servers are shut down also. It's a shame, i've not been on in a while. I know it's one of them weird games that takes a little getting used to. So i'll have to get back in and make the most of it, just in case other servers are shut down.
  12. I tend to leave my PS4 in sleep mode, and download anything that needs downloading whilst i'm in work. Sometimes i bring my Vita in and install the system updates if needs be.
  13. I swear they've either toughened up some levels or i just got worse at them.
  14. Arrived home to find my copy waiting for me. It's bringing back a lot of memories.
  15. I'm surprised they put Until Dawn on PS+, and Game of Thrones. Both are great titles for those whom have not played them.
  16. I know, but after the fiasco of stock with the NES mini, surely they'd be wiser and limit to 1 per customer. It sucks that many (at the moment) will miss out due to others stocking up.
  17. Nintendo doesn't seem to have learned a thing. They know there's a keen interest in the NES Mini, so they stop producing it instead of continuing manufacturing them. Now the SNES Mini is due in September, and it seems it could be a similar situation in terms of stock. Reading on different sources that online stores are not limiting orders to 1 per customer, so people have been snapping them up (some even getting as many as 10 pre-orders). And then they are appearing on eBay for upwards of £100. As much as i like the idea of Nintendo doing these retro consoles, i'll give it a miss.
  18. Change is good. First impressions, looks clean and fresh. Loving the new look so far, will get used to it more. Still used to seeing the VBulletin site.
  19. At the moment, i have these on my list to get between for the rest of the gaming calendar. Might change as it goes on, but who knows. PS4 South Park: Fractured But Whole Destiny 2 Crash Bandicoot Assassins Creed Origins Uncharted Lost Legacy Everybodys Golf Horizon DLC Sonic Mania Detroit Days Gone Far Cry 5 3DS Metroid: Return of Samus
  20. Decided to finish Knack. I mean, this title has been sitting on my shelf for sometime so i thought i'd plow through it. Not much to say really, it looks pretty and all that. Controls were a little off at times, and sometimes the difficulty spike did strike me once or twice. But overall, not a bad game. Edit (saves a double post) Did also complete Little Nightmares just now. I enjoyed it, it's one of them games that doesn't require much thought and is simply a joy to play. Few times i slipped up, but knew what i did wrong so did it right next time and didn't slip up.
  21. Saw this on another website, apparantly it's insane with the number of people at E3 this year due to the public being allowed access. Various people on press business are not happy. https://clips.twitch.tv/JollyWrongShingleSMOrc That's just around the Nintendo booth But anyway, back onto the matter in hand For me, the conference that stood out was Ubisoft. They showcased numerous new titles, liked the appearance from Shiggy at the start. And it ended with Beyond Good and Evil II. I was quite surprised and shocked when they revealed it, never thought i'd see the day on that one. The new Assassin's Creed looks good, Egypt looks to be a good setting for it. Next was Sony. All they had to do was show games, and they did that. Ok, maybe not as many surprises as i'd have liked. But seeing Shadow of the Colossus was just something (even though i've never played it). God of War looked amazing, and Spiderman looked interesting. Days Gone and Detroit look interesting titles too. Nintendo followed closely behind, there's not a lot that interests me with Nintendo these days. Am i growing past them, i don't know. But revealing Metroid Prime 4 and a remake of II, well they know how to draw me back. The new Mario looks interesting, yet odd. Like it's Sonic Adventure, but smoother and more fluid. Are they going Breath of the Wild with this and making it so you can go anywhere and do anything, who knows. Microsoft next. What are they thinking with the Xbox One X, for the price it would seem it's off to behind the shed to be put out of it's misery. I'm not saying Dead on Arrival, but quite a few people are not happy with the price-tag. Games-wise, if they are trying to show the power of this beast, indie games isn't the way for it. Forza is Forza, but they could have had Gears upped to 4k to show it's power. Not too fussed on Minecraft, but it's good to see it going multi-network. And behind in joint last, both EA and Bethesda. EA don't normally have anything i'm interested in, so i didn't find it appealing to me. Bethesda, it felt like they just grabbed anything just to make an appearance. Fallout VR looks interesting, and i did see on the Sony stage they are working on Skyrim VR too.
  22. Apparantly, one game for July has been revealed accidentally as "That's You!". Basically, it's a console game requiring use of a mobile similar to many others on the market at the moment. A channel i follow on YouTube uploaded footage of them playing it, and had it revealed as a July PS+ title in the description box.
  23. Didn't get a chance to play the original, and i have heard some great things about this game.
  24. Can't wait for more Horizon, this game was a huge surprise in terms of how great it was and a joy to play.
  25. The price point for the Xbox One X (seriously, stupid name) is outside of anything i'd deem interested in. And bar a few exclusives, there wasn't a lot i was interested in. Thought the Mojang rep was high on something, seeing how excited she looked at announcing cross-platform Minecraft (that's a great idea for those whom play this game). Bethesda's felt weak, like they threw anything into the pot just to appear.
