Yay! Will get a pay raise next year! However, no one knows how big it will be. It's just calculated by an algorithm. I find that a bit funny because: At a performance appraisal I got a score of 3 which translates to "exceeds expectations" - there are 4 in total, 2 being "meets expectations". So based on that score, the pay raise will be calculated from current pay according to my role (my role says that I should be paid within the range of u and w, the role above me v to x where u < v < w < x) and the total amount of money put aside to pay raises, as well as the total number of 3s and 4s. That's a whole lot of variables! The pay raise will be effectuated in January where the amount will be revealed. I do know that it'll be more than 1 % raise, though, as that is the recalibration done every year for everyone scoring 2 or more.

Is there anything really good in that Cyber Deal?

I really dislike the art style. It's very off putting. The gameplay reminds me a little of the card game Boss Monster. Somehow. Even though they are from different perspectives.

Watched Shang-Chi yesterday. Decent action movie with nice kung fu choreography and beautiful scenery but it the character itself is rather boring and didn't really need his own movie. The story was alright, the bad guy wasn't all bad which was nice.

I didn't know the movie but saw the actors involved. Big names. Actually looks like a decent movie that could be good to watch over the Christmas holidays.

Even though that is a tempting offer, I don't think I have the energy for yet another roguelike in my life at the moment. As much as I enjoy them, I also get very frustrated with them.

Ouch. Too much! It's just too much. Won't be watching much of that to be honest, I haven't got the time, and some of the characters aren't that interesting.

It's a shame that only a few reviewers actually get the game before release, at least in Europe. So many reviewers won't be aware that the game was in a bad shape before release. I won't buy the games as I think they aren't ambitious enough. I know they are remakes but pixel to pixel remakes are not what I would be expecting at this point.

Only time will tell - plans change. But for now, I think we can expect a reveal of the Switch 2 in 2023 if those comments are to be believed. However, I think that is a bit too late, I would prefer a reveal and release in 2023 at the latest.
