  1. I like the tone of it and how different to the other Marvel movies and shows it feels. The costume could look a bit better, I guess, but I'm definitely interested.
  2. They really need an overall story to the game to keep the player engaged. Simply "Gotta catch 'em all in this giant, empty place" won't do. And yeah, that boss fight with Kleavor looks a bit too stretched out - how will the legendary battles go then?
  3. Wow. That could easily have been a smaller Direct about the game - which would perhaps have been appropriate? "Each area is filled with Pokémon" - and you see none at all at that moment. Other than that, I think this clarified a bit of information. I mainly worry about the world simply being too big with not enough to do. I'd rather it was a bit more condensed.
  4. It truly does look superb and looks like good, old fun. Looking forward to this even though I'm not the biggest Kirby-fan around.
  5. Just two more episodes left of Daredevil season 3. Didn't really feel the need to finish this when it came but recent events made me interested again - along with the villain returning in another show. Really enjoying season 3, especially after season 2 and The Defenders that were both kind of weak. I think they are doing something quite interesting to Matt in this season and it fits the tone of the show very well. The story is also quite intense.
  6. Another new trailer, shorter but English. Seems like new footage, and indeed. Main goal of the game is Hopefully there is a bit more to do but well, it'll be interesting.
  7. New trailer. Animations look a bit stiff and the world a bit empty. I also wonder why they don't use Pokémon for battling more. No trainer battles shown at all has me a bit worried.
  8. Wow. That sounds so absurd that it is actually funny. That's incompetence on a whole other level.
  9. I posted it as a rumor but I didn't include the spoiler tag. That's fair enough, didn't think of it as something that would spoil. I don't know Centro Leaks so didn't think much abiut it. Anyhow, I think you are right. This game is going to be hard to review on its own merits. And I really hope that despite what the game looks like, it is still fun to play and has a lot of variation. I don't want to find a specific Pokémon by just waiting around the right spot and waiting for RNG. It should include some sort of action and including that, could make the game fun to play. I'm really, really hoping this game has more to it than it seems. But I'm sceptical.
  10. Surprised no one has posted this yet:
  11. I agree. But isn't it kind of limited in Animal Crossing at the moment? Would that perhaps be viable - that holiday outfits are only available in December every year?
  12. MK Tour is actually alright. The gacha mechanics can easily be replaced by old school unlocking stuff by achieving certain things and I do think that adding high scores to a racing game can add to the fun. It's like time trial, but instead of going as fast as possible you also try to go different routes to do more tricks and getting more points. I think that blends very well into what MK has become. It should of course be a separate game mode. The next Mario Kart will probably feature seasonal content as well.
  13. I recently learned that the world records for most push-ups in an hour was over 2000. That's totally crazy but it got me thinking - how many can I do in an hour? No, I haven't tried that but I just finished a variant of it. I set myself to do 5 push-ups every minute on the minute for an hour but I diverged from that plan at the last moment, just going for 300 push-ups as fast as possible. So I did 60 times 5 push-ups and 5 air squats (just to add some legs to it), it took me 34 minutes and 23 seconds. Had a small break at about 18:40 which I didn't include because. Ihad to check on my son who was sleeping. I think that's actually quite fine. My arms are quite heavy now, though. Generally, being on paternity leave gives me a bit more time to do some actual training now. My son sleeps about two hours in the morning so gives me about an hour to exercise and then an hour to do something else (at the moment just picking up older TV-shows that I haven't had the chance to see).
  14. Mario Kart Adventures. That's next in line. Other than that, the next MK game will not be on Switch but might be a launch game for Switch 2. More racers and tracks and an expansive single-player adventure-mode. Also more guest appearances from other games.
  15. First day on paternity leave today with my second child. My wife is not happy about having to go back to work but I think I needed some time off by now. I have 18 weeks so won't go back to work until beginning of May. It's going to be interesting to see my mental state at that time.
  16. Then As is the obvious choice. It's a good game and provides a good story in the Zelda-universe. Pokémon Legends: Arceus is a bit of a mystery somehow. It seems to be a cross between Pokémon and Monster Hunter but exactly what this means is hard to see from the trailers. It's out soon, though, so advertisement of the game is bound to go up. Sword and Shield are more or less the worst Pokémon games I've played. They aren't bad games but just not what Pokémon needed. They are linear with no side-quests or caves, the story is uninteresting, the champion looks like an idiot and generally just underwhelming. The Wild Area is a nice prototype of the future of Pokémon, and the expansions should be good. I also disliked Link's Awakening but that's because it's a very faithful remake of the old game, and having never played that, I went into the game blind. I struggled to finish it because of some weird, old-school game logic that just didn't suit a new game. I think it's worth checking out, though, if uoy enjoy Zelda-games. It is charming but just not logical in how it's build.
  17. Of those I think Skyward Sword is the best experience. Unless you have some weird nostalgic feelings towards Link's Awakening or Diamond/Pearl. Sword and Shield are not so good, I'd wait for Legends Arceus to come out on January 28th if you fancy some Pokémon.
  18. Hmm. I've got basically nothing. I've got a few IKEA bulbs but that's mainly for easy dimming - we don't use the app, just the IKEA remote. I just don't really see the point in setting a whole lot of things up. We remember to turn off the lights and if we don't, well, it's going to be alright. I can see a benefit of checking that the front door was locked or that we remembered to close the garage when we left the house. But other than that, I think it often takes longer to find the app, find the lamp and turn it on than it does to actually just go to the switch. I do wish that I could see the point. I feel like a grumpy old man towards those things.
  19. I've never enjoyed Technic. I generally don't like the look of it but I think the functions are cool. I think it's down to all those holes in them.
  20. Watched Don't Look Up the other day. Really enjoyed it, The cast is spectacular and the story is rather fine with some good laughs. It's not a comedy but it's rather fun to watch because of how absurd it portrays certain groups in society. It didn't feel too long but probably could do with 15 minutes less. There is a post credit scene, by the way.
  21. New LEGO Sonic is out in January:
  22. The Batman, trailer 2: Still looks cool, the music is ominous and The Riddler finally seems like a real villain.
  23. Dr. Strange never interested me much growing up but I really enjoy his presence in the MCU. I think Cumberbatch does a tremendously good job with that role, and with the multi-verse set up now happening, it's exciting times indeed. And yeah, Multiverse of Madness looks interesting.
  24. Cinemas here in Denmark are closing on Sunday. Feeling bad for those who didn't get the chance to catch Spider-man. Worst possible time - ever!
