  1. Cycling to and from work is pretty effective exercise, generally, of course depending on the distance. If it goes well for you, you should probably buy a bigger bike. It looks a bit small for you. Biking to and from work is currently the only exercise I get, that and walking a bit. After going back to work (and working from the office) after my paternity leave has given me less time to exercise "properly", and I'm too tired in the evening to lift weights at the moment. Of course, I do bike about 23 km a day, 17 of those at high speed but I do miss rowing and running for cardio.
  2. Looks like some decent fantasy. But I know nothing about Willow, nothing at all, so some of it may be lost on me.
  3. I'll be dropping it as well. Looks bad.
  4. Funny, I think it looks a bit boring. Sure, it's nice and simple, but it doesn't look fun to assemble. At least it holds a nice secret.
  5. I have a friend who is very much into Strikers but I never really played it. Might want to try this one out, it does look fun.
  6. Wow. That's awesome.
  7. The trailer in OP is not exactly new. Its from June 2021. Is there a new trailer, or is it a mistake?
  8. Cult of the Lamb looks good, and Another Crab's Treasure looks fun. Other than that nothing of interest.
  9. Finally something new! It's been really quiet for the past weeks with barely any news from Nintendo. I guess they are keeping stuff for the June Direct, if this is indeed going to happen.
  10. I rushed to see Multiverse of Madness because I was afraid that it would be spoiled to me in the same way that No Way Home was spoiled immediately after being shown in the cinemas. But fortunately for others, there isn't much to spoil about Mom in terms of what's to come, and that disappointed me a bit. There are multiple Marvel movies and shows on the horizon but I don't really feel I need to watch them. What If season 2 is probably the only one, perhaps Loki season 2.
  11. I thought of that, but the spoiler tags don't seem to work on Android Chrome if someone gets quoted, so I don't want to risk it. Funny. I don't have that problem on my OnePlus.
  12. Spoiler tags don't work with Tapatalk, unfortunately. I don't use Tapatalk but just use the browser version, and spoiler tags work there. So you can just use the browser.
  13. Just read the last couple of pages of a thread and start from there the next time you log on. There. Problem solved. They exist because the topic is still relevant. It would only cause confusion if you close a thread only to continue the topic in a new thread with a number attached.
  14. I fully agree - except that I enjoyed Hawkeye and Loki (haven't started Moon Knight yet). Overall, Dr. Strange 2 just didn't live up to its potential. It was alright but I found the dialogue kind of forced and the motivation of characters - especially in the beginning - to be really weird. In the future, I don't think I'll rush to the cinema to watch these movies. The new heroes in the MCU are just not that interesting, and they haven't set up an interesting, overlapping story arc this time around, at least not yet. So I think this is kind of the decline of the MCU, unfortunately, but everyone knows that it just can't go on.
  15. Started my new job this week. My new colleagues are really nice, there is a good vibe in the office and people are really helpful. I haven't seen my manager, though, which is a bit funny. Monday she had a day off with her family (they went to Legoland which is a perfectly acceptable excuse!), Tuesday she had back-pain and couldn't go to the office and today, well, I don't know if she were there. It doesn't matter to me, though, I'm good. I look forward to start looking into some code, though. My first day was a bit weird, got my laptop and an iPhone 13. Both completely obsolete, the laptop is only to be used as a Citrix client which will hook up to my stationary computer at the office for when I'm working from home, the iPhone is solely for using Microsoft Authenticator sometimes - I could use it privately as well but I use Android. But my stationary computer had an error so I couldn't log in and thus, I couldn't actually start the setup until Tuesday. The setup is a 27 pages long Word document with many, many steps. Almost done with it now.
  16. I already have tickets booked for Thursday night and I'm really looking forward to it. So I won't watch that trailer. I hope I won't watch it at least.
  17. I was home alone yesterday and wanted to watch something I knew my wife wouldn't like. So I watched Alita: Battle Angel. Movies should really need a warning if they don't finish and the sequel is not in the works. Other than not ending, I did find it lacking in several ways. Setting was mildly interesting but I never understood the motivation of the actions of the characters. It just went too fast over stuff, and I know that it tried to fit in some source material but it just didn't work well. Good action scenes, though, and it looked good, especially later. But I can't recommend that movie at all.
  18. NintendoLife made a list with 85 great games in the sale. https://www.nintendolife.com/guides/85-must-have-games-you-should-pick-up-in-the-switch-eshop-sale-europe Except that they missed Scott Pilgrim at 67 % discount and Gris at 75 %.
  19. My wife and I have been enjoying life too much the past couple of weeks so we put on Euphoria. Man.. that's hardcore. But it's great. We aren't that far, yesterday we started episode 6 of season 1 but my wife fell asleep so I stopped it. It's a good show but very hard to watch at times.
  20. Just started season 3 of Castlevania. It's an entertaining show, and I enjoy it. The final fights of season 2 seemed a bit too easy for the three of them but that's alright. I look forward to seeing where season 3 will go, it has already been set up nicely. I haven't played the games, though, so any game related comment goes past me - except I figured something was up with the boat on wheels comment.
  21. Yeah, this year is stacked. It's going to be hard to find the time to do these monstrous games. What a terrible, messy trailer that is, though. I have no idea what actually happened there.
  22. Finally got our table tops this week. They were supposed to arrive last week but were postponed for three weeks - but then suddenly turned up a week later. That was a nice surprise. Spent yesterday fastening them and by that, we are done with the kitchen - except some small adjustments, some painting and some silicone here and there. So a before and an after picture are appropriate, I guess: There's a world in difference here, I think. Of course, there is a bit of a mess in the first picture and it's completely clean in the second but apart from that the new kitchen looks a lot more lively and inviting and more open. The sink is taking up less space as well, giving more room for preparing food on the left side of it which is nice. Now we have some outdoor projects. Painting the fence, cleaning the stones outside and such. Woo.
  23. I hope they design the new building to be at least less square. They should look at the new Lego Headquarters in Billund, Denmark, to draw some inspiration.
  24. Ah, yes. Of course. And yes, I agree, if this were a thing, more would be experiencing it. Idiot to brag about it on Twitter, police should knock on his door any moment.
