I found it more fun to actually catch the Pokémon i Legends, but battles are way better here. The world itself is a bit barren and the Poklémon that inhabit it are not doing anything at all, and some of them are even hard to see (I play handheld at the moment on the old Switch). The radar in the bottom is completely useless when you rotate the camera, the Pokémon moves in a weird way that cannot be right - disastrous that this went through QA.

Nothing that beats that type very well. But I managed.
-
Took me a few more hits than that as I had the wrong type starter for that challenge.

Did that yesterday but didn't got locked. It was a tedious challenge, though, and makes no sense. It wasn't even a fun minigame...

Have you noticed how hard the PokeBall seems to be thrown? Makes me laugh a bit.

Regarding the first point, I think that Twitter is easy to integrate and since you can have hashtag and stuff like that, it basically acts as a channel for advertising. And to your second point, I also heard this and then they compared that to similar companies with at most half the staff. The company as a whole is apparently run very ineffeciently which I guess is what Musk is trying to rectify, even though he from an outside perspective doesn't do very well.

Got Violet this evening (review purposes) and went with Sprigato, the grass cat, as my wife found that cute (I did as well). Been playing for two hours. The game is a bit slow and environments are a bit bland. The movement of the main character is weird and floaty at times, and when catching Pokémon, the PokeBall doesn't always land on the ground but floats a bit above it, suggesting that the physics are a bit wonky. Some of the Pokémon are small and hard to spot, others are fine. Items are scattered everywhere in the first couple of areas at least. At the moment I'm just catching one of each Pokémon I find and then battle a lot so my Sprigato is level 15 already. I can't find an option to have the Pokémon stay in battle without being prompted about wanting to swap it out. That's annoying! Overall looking forward to getting the game going with some true objectives.

I'll get it. I'm currently fighting the final boss in Xenoblade 3 so I cane be ready for this. I'm struggling to figure out which starter I'll go for. Can't decide but I'm leaning towards grass for once.

Despite that not a terrible trailer. Still not sold on Terralizing or whatever it's called but it's better than Dynamaxing at least.

Reviews are in! Very much as I expected. But definitely quite decent. It's not necessarily reviewed on Switch, though, so those scores could be different (or less I would expect given the technical limitations). The downsides seem to be camera and technical stuff.

That video looks really promising. Hopefully the game is deep enough to be fun for quite some time, but I do wonder how long the game is.
-
I will probably get it for review purposes but I'm going to rush it a bit to finish the review before Pokémon hits so I suspect that I'll have to return to it once I'm done with Pokémon. But I do have some expectations, I find it really great that they have expanded the combat in this game. Sonic combat was always rather dull but it has always had greater potential. I do expect the world to be rather empty, though.

Uniting Seven Nopon, is it worth it? I still need three but they require me to finish a few other side quests first.

It was the gauge thing I didn't see. I choose Noah, Lanz and Eunie to make sure that I can get a link in the end but I thought that I always had four rounds. Thanks!
-
Can anyone here explain why chain attacks suddenly end after 2 or 3 rounds? I take care picking Hero, Noah, Lanz and Eunie for the first 3-4 rounds to activate a Ouroborous attack in the end but sometimes it just ends. I suspect it might be because I don't have enough characters left (yesterday I had two but would reactivate at least one more) but I'm unsure.

Interesting. I've got all ascension quests for the original classes and thought I would switch back to those now that I'm nearing the end. But Im not sure if those classes are actually any good, though I read online that it doesn't really matter. I've also just gone with the standard 2 of each, except that I use a healer Hero.

Henry Cavill is leaving The Witcher after season 3... Liam Hemsworth is instead taking over the role. https://www.ign.com/articles/the-witcher-renewed-for-season-4-by-netflix-liam-hemsworth-to-replace-henry-cavill-as-geralt-of-rivia It's always a shame when the lead actor is replaced. Cavill taking up the role as Superman again might be the reason for the departure.

Erm.. Yeah, I think so. Crazy!
-
That's cute.

Just finished Chapter 6. Did some hero ascension quests but otherwise nothing special in this chapter. It was shorter than the others but still spent quite some time. Was surprised to get the name in the end of the cutscene, though.

New trailer or information tomorrow:

It's a shame they throw in that villain as we'll have to watch the movie now to get the full story. I haven't got the slightest interest in Ant-Man and haven't even watched the second movie. Other than the villain, I don't really find it interesting at all.
