That's really impressive. But it didn't beat Splatoon 3 in fastest selling game?
-
As far as I know, that is very true to the comic, though. And I think he lived up a bit over the course of the show.

There are story points that you can follow which makes the game a bit more linear, at least in the beginning. Then you can pick a direction (story wise) and go with that.

Yeah. I'm dying constantly, even at 7 hearts. Can't seem to get the timing for flurry attacks right half the time, so it's also on me, but yeah. It seems like one or two hit kills all the time. Also getting rupees is a slow process. I only just 800 now after selling a bunch of rubies and joining the monster squad one time. Now I can afford an armor which let's me progress some story related quest. Also, I went to explore a chasm yesterday. Was instantly killed by a giant frog. But fifth time I got around it and found some interesting stuff there. But it was mainly just really dark and empty, can't see myself spending a lot of time there.

Got the game and has taken some time off work tomorrow. Will run my children to school / day care and then just game all day... Even though it's supposedly going to be the hottest day of the year here in Denmark (not that that says much, it's been really bad weather until now). Might go for a run in the middle of the day, though.

It's crazy that we are here now, two days before release, and how much time has passed since the release of BotW. Since then I have got two kids and a third on the way, two new jobs, and a house. And my oldest kid is just about to start school in August.

If others are curious and/or oblivious: He's a composer at Nintendo and has worked on Mario, Mario Kart and 2D Legend of Zelda.

Watched the IGN one and he spoiled a couple of puzzles and their solutions in order to explain how creative everything is. Just a warning. Sounds good, though. Sounds like a lot of time will be spent playing around with stuff to assemble weird constructs. That's going to be massive on YouTube, I recon. But it's awesome that they let you quickly make stuff you've made before if the materials are there. And the travel medallion is really good, except that you manually need to activate it so falling off an island accidentally could lead to frustration at times. But I'm glad to see overworld puzzles again.

Just realised tyst Cavill is still Geralt in season 3. Haha. XD
-
Oh, nice! And Liam Hemsworth looks just fine as Geralt. Actually, I had to actively remember that Cavill had left the role.
-
The Robotnik is nice, I'd like that as a stand alone. Would also buy the minifigures as my son would love to play with them. Other than that, the Sonic sets aren't really nice to look at. They should go further and do what Lego Mario does, add some game to the sets.

Teslagrad 2 being released is perhaps the most interesting news coming from this. Might pick that up at some point in the future. -

Sliksong... please? Sorry. Sorry for asking. -
Yeah, that was a great trailer with lots of small details about the story and setting. And finally some real music as well!

Or veggie.

Just beat the boss on Planet 3 the other day (I think it was the boss at least) . I enjoy the battles, the exploration parts are so-so, but overall, I feel the game is missing something, something intangible like charm or soul. The story is too serious for the setting, the Rabbids are just here, no real humour, low-key cutscenes and such. It just doesn't feel that polished... It doesn't help that it's a bit on the easy side. I play on Normal and it's a bit of a breeze with no real need to plan my way to victory. I have restarted a couple of battles and changed teams for some battles but ultimately, I just go in and shoot as many enemies as I can. The boss fights... Yeah, they are okay but it was only after the fight in Planet 3 that I learned that it was a boss and I was then free to go to a new planet. Overall, the game is enjoyable and I will continue my playthrough but it's just not as good as the first game which really captivated me.

Oh, that looks good!

There will be a post-credits scene so hang around for the credits. Also, Chris Pratt and Seth Rogen have talked about their roles and voices in the movie: Especially Seth Rogen's comments makes me a bit sad. It sounds like he didn't make any effort but we'll see. Will be seeing it on the 5th.

Finished it now and the last three episodes were a lot more enjoyable than the previous 4 episodes.
-
Yeah, this is true for me as well...

I'm a little worried that crafting is too heavily used in the game and will be a solution to every puzzle. That said, it does look like it can lead to some really cool puzzles and give you total freedom of how you solve them which I enjoy. It'll be interesting to see how much had changed and how the formula is this time around to warrant the long development time.

Episode 5 done. We're not really feeling it that much. Its alright but not outstanding. There isn't really much happening is there? My wife is really bored, I'm still interested but mainly because I like Joel and Ellie. The other stuff doesn't really work well and it could easily have been cut down a few episodes, especially the stuff in Kansas. It also seems a bit aimless. Also, my wife pointed out that zombies are really boring enemies as they don't have a plan or ulterior motive or anything. They are just there. Eating stuff. There is nothing to wonder about, nothing to figure out.
