Belgium also has confirmation of this. It starts on October 1st.

OK, I initially reacted with a "Haha" because it's a "Funny because it's true" dig at me. But I just saw more details and it's dawned on me that you might have been telling me this detail that yes, it is just Kanto Pokémon. The damn thing's called "Pokémon art through the ages"! Last time I checked, ages didn't omit over 80% of a thing! So, in other words... I'm annoyed.

You'd probably be right, if it wasn't for the fact that I don't have access to Dcubed's Switch during the weekday. All I managed since then was getting the armour shop. The Accessibility options are there if you ever find yourself in need of a boost as a last resort.

It's to be held in the Trafford Centre.

My favourite was getting @Ike with Marth's FS... and then me being the one getting KO'd because of it.
-
Jigglypuff's "Sing, then Rest" strategy really doesn't work so well in Time, where others aren't willing to just let you get the KO, huh?
-
Never mind, @Dcubed got it. Sponge Powers activate! Managed to get down to the bottom just now. If you look closely at the bottom of the screen, you'll notice I almost had it! 2 more hits would've done the job, but it wasn't to be... Game's awesome though. It's pretty much Shovel Knight meets Downwell. Oh, and @RedShell, Shovel Knight has always been that sluggish. But the obstacles and enemies are mostly quite nimble in this game, so I get where you're coming from.

Oh man, I wish I had the money to get this. But for now, it'll be on my wishlist to remind me to get it when I can.

Golly gee, guys! It's yet another Theme Night. Directly to Smash! Tonight, only characters from games that were featured in last week's Nintendo Direct will be allowed. For clarity's sake, I'm only allowing characters that are absolutely, 100%, in the game. For example, while it's very likely that Fire Emblem Engage will have quite a few of the FE Smashers in it, we only saw Marth, so only he's getting in here. (That also rules out Ganondorf, BTW. You can't be sure he's in Tears of the Kingdom.) Switch Sports showed up, so all 3 Mii Fighters are allowed, but no character based costumes, unless it's the Lloyd Irving one. And in case anyone is wondering, I've not finished Xenoblade 3 yet, so I wouldn't know if Shulk or Pyra shows up in it. Hell, even if I did, I wouldn't allow them here because that would be spoilers and the game is too new for that. So they won't be in it, no matter what. I was more lax with the stage selection here, generally allowing for stages from a series featured in the direct to be in the pool. Although I left out stages from mainline Mario games and most of the Pokémon stages past generation 2 for no good reason. Same deal with the item selection. Format: Time, 4 minutes FS Meter: On See you at 8pm, tonight.

Very likely that it's the same reason why you see nothing from them in games like Fortnite or Mon Hun Rise. If you're gonna aim for having it available on all platforms, then Ninty will very quickly show you the door.

Mental health is always going to be more important then reading what drivel I decide to post on any given day. You take whatever time you need.

Player's Choice tonight at 8pm.

So this is a tweet from the founder of indieszero replying to a query about getting the Digital Deluxe content with a physical copy of the game, and according to his response, it will be possible. Not sure how at the mo, but if you wanted the physical copy, keep an eye out.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes (24th June)
Glen-i replied to darksnowman's topic in Nintendo Gaming
OK, so I actually looked into this a bit already. How leveling up works is that every character has sort of "base stats" that you'll be guaranteed to have. So, as an example, Shez at level 50 is guaranteed to have at least 40 strength (Not his actual strength, just go with it for now) However, with each level up, the game checks what class Shez is, and then uses that to determine if any stats get some bonus points. So if Shez is an Asura, he'll have, say, a 25% chance for his Strength to get an extra point on a level up. Generally speaking, Master Classes have a higher chance of getting these bonus stats then the lower ones. If you level reset, and then keep that character in the Master class you want them to be, you'll likely have a character whose stats are far better then one who you didn't specialise. Keep in mind though, that any stat gains you got from using items or certain survey spots are kept on a level reset, so don't worry about losing that. That said, it's not super necessary, it's just for those people who like to min/max stuff. -
So, I went and tried this out too. It seems that it's dependant on the character's height. Pichu and Banjo can't do this at all. But bring along Sephiroth, who's a little taller then Bayo, and he walks up the steps even quicker! Keep in mind, this only works when you're walking. Dashing into the steps will get the usual "bumping into a wall" animation.

Alright, so as far as I understood, a person could only hurt themselves with their own Motion-Sensor Bomb by setting it down, forgetting about it, and then stepping on it after it had been activated. There's also the possibility of attacking one that's mid-flight, causing it to explode in your face. So I thought that might be what happened, but... Clearly no explosion, it almost looks like @Ike accidentally beaned himself in the face with the mine when it ricocheted off of the block toy. So I went into training mode, picked Shulk and started faffing about with the item. Throwing it straight up and standing still didn't result in me taking damage from it falling. So I went to the Princess Peach's Castle stage, and chucked one at the center pillar while standing right next to it, and yes! I took 6% damage! So, in conclusion, it seems that if you set a Motion-Sensor Bomb on a surface that is right next to you, and isn't a horizontal surface, you'll take damage from the brief ricochet that happens before it attaches itself. I guess once it hits that wall, it stops being "your thrown item" and will damage anyone indiscriminately. My guess is that the flag for this is set once it touches a surface, which is designed so that someone can set off their own bomb. But with a wall, there's a brief moment when the item is airborne after the wall touch, so anyone who happens to be there will get beaned by it. Oh, and just to be clear, this isn't a Shulk only thing, it happened when I tried it with Mario, so I assume it happens with any character.

Stamina matches tonight at 8pm.

That fact that he didn't make the obvious reference by saying that "This Game Stinks", means that I have to discount everything he thinks about the game. Sorry, them's the rules. You know he'll end up playing Mother 3 eventually.

KONAMI - What the hell are they doing!?

I mean, after reading his writeups and it getting a Switch HD release, I kinda have to try it now, don't I? -
Suikoden I & II HD (PS4, Switch, Xbox, PC - 2023)
Glen-i replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Other Consoles
In that case, sorry. I thought the platforms were apparent as soon as the trailer dropped. Because that's where I saw the news. -

Oh come on! You put "Switch" in the title! You did that on purpose! -

I'll also add to this that the 4 Bravely Default songs show no current signs of being in said new Theatrhythm PR. Now, that doesn't mean they won't be in it (2 of the DLC packs are being kept under wraps). But it's worth keeping it in mind when it gets released. -
I just know my party in this is going to be nothing but funny animal people. It's, like, the one thing Octopath doesn't have. This game is looking better with each trailer.

OK, Ash's Lucario is next. It's an insanely versatile Pokémon, so you'd be hard pressed to stumble upon one that doesn't fill one of the many roles it can tackle! Right-o, let's have a look... First of all, Serious Nature. The one nature no Pokémon needs! Then there's the completely unnecessary doubling up on Steel and Fighting moves, one of which is Reversal, which is far too situational and reliant on bulk to be of any use! And despite having nothing but STAB moves, it doesn't have Adaptability, because that would be bloody sensible! This is actually worse then the Dracovish!
