Recently, the Switch version got an update, it didn't have any new content, but @Dcubed had the feeling that the framerate ran better. So I tested it out with a character that consistently crashes the game due to how obscenely powerful they can get, and I got through multiple runs with no issues, and the frames definitely didn't drop as much! So, in the spirit of that image I posted when I first broke the game literally, "Let's keep going, and see what happens!" Mmmmmm! Positively buttery smooth compared to before! Didn't crash though, I've done four runs with similar builds now, and I completed all of them!

Stock matches tonight. 7:30 for Custom Stages, 8pm for standard ones.

Had a feeling I'd have to type this again before long.

See, now I'm only encouraged more. There are some harsh truth bombs in this topic, and it will be fun to think of ways that these Pokémon could be salvalged (if at all).

Not a bad shout, but Charizard has had moments where it rose to relevance, mostly when it got a new form through mechanics like Mega Evolution. Mega Charizard Y is legit amazing! Someone knows their utterly woeful Pokémon.

OK, this is cool. Until I noticed that it's pupil is somehow half off of it's eyes, and now it's all I see! Anyway, speaking of nothing to do with Feraligatr or Trading Card Game, I've been spitballing the idea of doing another nerdy Pokémon thread looking at all the Pokémon that are truly terrible, like, we're talking the ones that have absolutely no viability in any capacity! For an idea of how much these Pokémon suck, even Kecleon has a fringe-case use in specific low tier Smogon cases.

OK, so I like to think I'm pretty knowledgable when it comes to Pokémon, but this one snuck up on me, probably because it's more tied to the anime/TCG then it is to the games. But until 2020, Kadabra effectively didn't exist in those two aspects. Nintendo got successfully sued by Uri Geller for $60 million for "Unauthorised appropriation of his identity". So no more cards, or anime appearances for Kadabra. That is, until 2020, Geller decided to just be OK with it, so Kadabra is allowed to be in things again. This even affects the games in a weird way. Kadabra is the only Pokémon that Everstone doesn't work on. If you trade, it will evolve, no matter what! Anyway, there's your random Pokémon fact I just learned.

Anyway, before a better game comes along, we've still got F-Zero Climax to try! There's one spot open if anyone else wants to join in. 8:30 pm tonight.

Boo gets special dialogue when you use Boo on it Didn't have time to finish a game. The pace is a tad slower then previous games. Might have to play 15 turns on this one. It's great though, Even with @Dcubed stealing a star from me when I'm in second, who does that!?

I stand with you. Your good taste will not be alone! How Banjo-Tooie gets lambasted to hell and back for being too sprawling, when this exists is beyond me! It also has far better mini games! When this eventually comes to NSO, I will do the bare minimum to unlock the multiplayer things, and then bail. Cannot stand the idea of doing all that again.

Somehow, Mega Blastoise could've been stupider! Silver linings, and all that. This one speaks to me, can't possibly guess why... But yeah, you're gonna see a lot of scrapped designs that are clearly finished designs from here on out. Apart from Gen 7, each generation since 6 has marked a massive shift in some way that no doubt affected development. Looking forward to Gen 8, that has the best new Pokémon designs ever, so I can't wait to see the many Megas that were planned before the mechanic got cut. Sounds like they repurposed this as the Secret Bases in OR/AS. Not as in-depth, but it did get salvaged.

Mythical Pokémon pretty much never have legal shinies. Seriously, you can count them on one hand. I actually like that there's a tangible reward for completing the Pokédex. Home did this before with a Poké Ball style Magearna. It's neat, and I can't help but feel the kind of person who cares about collecting shinies would've already caught them all anyway. But my stance hasn't changed, I'm not paying to play more of this crummy game, even if I could bulldoze it with my Speedy Groudon.

Lizalfos, always. Especially the higher level ones that can jump. Lock on to an enemy and their attack is near instantaneous. Repeat locking on and summoning until everything is dead.

It's this. We've seen it already. Other "leakers" are trying to mix in some fake stuff so that not all eyes are on the actual leak.
