So I blew £69.99 on the boxed version and...haven't even opened it yet 🙈 Partly because any game time I have I'm still predominantly playing Monster Hunter but also...it all just looks so pretty boxed up and untouched, I'm half wondering whether in a few years it might be worth a few Bob, especially if it hasn't been selling THAT well. Still really want to play the game itself, though! What a dilemma...

And I here I am chuffed to have got to HR5 just by fighting with randoms! Hopefully I'll catch up with everyone soon (at some point) so I can crack on with some of these more advanced quests; loving this game at the moment though, it's just what I've needed to get me back into the games sphere even if I am going at a snails pace!

I went all in and ordered the Starfox pack all boxed up from the official store (well, it's £69.99 and includes an Arwing!) Got an email yesterday to say a delay in shipping, although apparently it has been dispatched this morning so we'll see, quite looking forward to it as apart from fox being in it I know absolutely nothing about the game, haven't followed it apart from seen the metacritic average, so looking forward to giving it a go!

I had this problem on the 3DS version so thought I'd ask...is there anywhere/where is the place you can harvest herbs, blue mushrooms, honey etc to make potions and what not easier to combine rather than having to go out collecting blue shells all the time? Found it organically in 3U and 4U, but for some reason I have no idea where it is on this one! Great to be back hunting though, still HR1...(still no armour set just the orginal Bherna gear) and my trusty (rusty) Lance, but I'd be keen for some games at some point

Nigeria making stupid decisions in the final third/box, which is stopping them captilasing on some good play. To wade into the Ronaldo/Messi debate, I think I prefer Ronaldo because he's "man made" if that makes sense? Messi is just clearly naturally gifted, whereas Ronaldo has made himself the player he is. What a contrast seeing Ronaldo walk out smiling, singing the anthem with passion etc last night and enjoying his game...Messi looked like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders, you could see he wasn't confident before that penalty and, frankly, it was dreadful! Hate to just sound like I'm agreeing but... Unless Messi does the same at another club, history will look back kinder on Ronaldo. Always makes me smile ruefully to think Rooney was once the world class player in the team and Ronaldo just the lad who did step overs. For all Rooney's records with Utd and England, if only he'd had the mental drive like Ronaldo.

I was lucky enough to get Portugal so, although I was already, I'm in full CR7 mode for this World Cup 😍 Peru's creativity was brilliant, just lacked the final touch, if Ronaldo or Messi had tried the back heel like Guerrero did...

You watch them get beaten by Iran and Morocco 😂

Not to disrespect Morocco or Iran, but if Ronaldo has bagged three against Spain, he could have the golden boot sewn up by the end of the group stages, possibly even beating Klose's all time tournament haul too if he's in this sort of mood! That was the best group game I can ever remember seeing, possibly one of the best ever, at a WC, ignited the tournament!!

Not sure if it's been posted elsewhere but seeing that as well as getting flack for the Fortnite cross play cock up, Sony "aren't talking to any specialist gaming press" at e3 (100% paraphrase) U wot?

Of course easy to forget that Xbox exclusive Recore was advertised as from the developers of Metroid Prime, as well as Inafune, and that game was mediocrity personified! I loved the Metroid Prime trilogy, I have to say, all three were brilliant, and the DK games too, but clearly there was a moment going on at Retro which has been lost due to staff moving on or other issues.

I do wonder about the whole Star Fox GP story; so many sites, including Eurogamer, verified it...are they working on it and it's just not ready? Or have alot of places lost alot of reputation? I can see Retro being like NST, after Wave Race and 1080 the world was their oyster, but they were quietly moved on without much of a send off.

Typical Nintendo gamer I couldn't have given a hoot about it until Fox showed up; funnily enough at the end of the first trailer when the logo was scrambling I thought I saw Fox instead of Link, dismissed it at the time! Yeah, quality wise it all looked great, Ubisoft are nailing it in that regard, I guess it just lacked a certain feel for me and, as I say, just feels like there's alot of next gen planning going on.

I thought that was really bog standard from Ubi after last year; what is it with alot of these games not having a platform announced? The industry is clearly transitioning to "next gen", feels like a filler year in many respects. Imagine Sony will be the same but you never never know, and Nintendo will "win" by default because it's only Switch year 2. Still, Division 2 will be a must buy for me.

Thought that was a bit naff, to be honest; I feel like MS don't understand what many gamers want to see at their E3 conferences. Division 2 show off was very nice, and a few bits here and there, but it was alot of infrastructure building; we've bought these studios, we are making game pass fast load, Microsoft AI, working on a new console etc etc. Game pass could be an absolute killer app for them, especially if it continues over into the XTwo, once they get more first party games out of the gates . As it is that was fairly underwhelming for me.

Yeah they need to start mining some of Rare's back catalogue, even if it's farming the IP out to other developers; a new PD makes a lot of sense, certainly excitement wise, as does a BK. I'm holding out for Master Chief in Smash Bros to really help get Microsoft back over...

Christ that was dreadful, made the case for Nintendo's pre recorded Directs even more valid! I found it really bizzare that they didn't announce platforms, specifically for Unravel Two. "The games finished and available now" brilliant, on what, though? Only looking on other sites was I able to see it was on everything other than Switch, which is annoying, however having watched the IGN stream with the developer and he said it was literally because the team was so small they couldn't but still hoped to, that's fair enough. Just an awful, awful show; the Madden nonsense was one of the worst things I've ever seen, young Kiv may be Madden champion but he has the personality of a chicken nugget.

I'm going for 15 "launch exclusives" 😝 This has to be their best conference ever, and probably with some Unravel Two style immediate drops as well. Should be watching this live tonight, if it starts with a Forza game we are in a world of trouble...

99.9% certain this has now been officially confirmed, Feb 2019 is the date I'm sure I read. Can't wait to see more on this tonight for the fourth year in a row...
