Sorry, I know I still need to look into this but everything happens so much, as the wise elders once said. Here have this:

Zelda's dad really does punt her in the intro. And watching that triggered my degree brain; with this and the Peach game Nintendo has now twice given their princess characters violent mechanics when they're explicitly not themselves. They are trapped in this weird bind where they see a need to modernise a bit, but don't want to completely change the character so they've basically gone "urr it's basically all a dream".

I want Wario to officially be renamed François.

Might be tempted to get the special edition depending on the art book. If there's actual notes, decisions etc I'd be interested but if it was just a series of screenshots and renders not so much. Shame there's no Italian, could have claimed it as revision.

I was going to say "I wonder if they'll be allowed to talk when the public are there". I know we didn't see anything but there was no indication that spaces have been left side for future generations. I know it's a museum, but still.

Well it's basically what happens now, but you'll get notification about when things take place and can sync it with your personal calendar if you wish. Just a more dedicated way to manage it rather than posts in a thread (although you can also have threads within the club and obviously post in here).

To follow up on what Glen said, if there's any questions/comments etc about how the club thing works let me know. We're still getting to grips with how it can operate but hopefully it will make managing things like this a bit easier.

Just to check are you talking about uploading your own image? In the browser when you click to respond you'll see the option at the bottom of the text box. We no longer officially support Tapatalk and I don't use it personally so can't say for certain exactly how that works sorry.

The book did feature heavily so it may as well have been. Although would have been better if it was named after another module; Evil. Turned out that was the most boring module too.

I assume libraries exist in Germany? Granted it may not be something in many of them, but worth trying.

Gender Trouble is the one I recall most from my degree (and that is to say, looking at Wikipedia that is the one I said "oh yeah that was it"). Turns out they've written a few more books both while I was at uni and since so my knowledge is outdated. It was Media and cultural studies with a minor in film.

It's worth remembering The Second Sex was written 75 years ago so you would hope things by now some of its points are a bit more Although as you say, maybe not to everyone! And as you seem to be reliving my degree, maybe try out some Judith Butler next.

You explaining all the different versions

I've been thinking recently I need to do more physical creative stuff (coding and photography not counting) and not sure what yet so I've been looking at local courses to try and find something. I did realise I bought my nieces origami paper a while back and never gave it to them so may just do that for now. But anyway, do any of y'all do any arts and crafts?
