3 pointsMicrosoft bringing the big guns to Gamescom and showing why the X is an upgrade worth having. The show has been garbage so far.

3 pointsAfter banging in another load I have discovered the secret - it seems the cap thing you find at the bottom right of the machine was loose and the water was leaking out of there. unscrewing it a little and trying to go a bit tighter didn't seem to stem the flow. So I had to pause it mid-cycle and unscrew it fully, water came gushing out as expected but I had several towels ready to stop any more fluid going on the floor. After screwing it back on the problem seems to have resolved. Now I'm washing the towels that were on the floor

3 pointsEveryswhere - adverb - a place filled with many obscenities in a written form. "I had to leave the nightclub because it was everyswhere."

2 pointsIt's always a peculiar phenomenon. Back in our childhood, games were a lot more precious to us, due to how little we got. It was pretty normal for most 80's/90's kids to get new games only on Birthdays and Christmas. So when you got a game, you worked on it. Hard. The increased ease of getting a game these days will inevitably make gamers, both young and old, to be less tolerant of repeated failure. I'd like to think I try to avoid that, but even I sometimes fall victim to the thought of "I'd much rather spend my time making progress somewhere else" sometimes. Despite that, I never find myself wondering how I did something in a past game. I tend to have a creepy memory of games I've played before. Quickly recognising where secrets are, the best way to tackle an obstacle, stuff like that. Just ask @Dcubed whenever I play a Metroid game again. It has it's uses, although it ruins repeat playthroughs of visual novels. All I realise is that younger me, while not as skilled at games, had a hell of a lot more time and a hell of a lot less games.

In that case, the batch after that might be: Art of Fighting 2 Fatal Fury 3 King of Fighters '95 King of Fighters '96 King of the Monsters The Last Blade Pulstar Samurai Shodown II Sengoku 2 Super Baseball 2020 World Heroes World Heroes 2 Just going by Wikipedia's list of ones that have been released on PS4/Xbox One, but not Switch. 2 pointsOur bathroom is one of our "project rooms" and we eventually plan to knock through to the toilet to make a single room. In the meantime, I got fed up with not having a shower, so me and my dad re-tiled and we had a guy out to change the individual taps to a single mixer/shower thing. After 2 years, we now have a shower (forgive the awful photo, it's nicer IRL): Not bad for a temporary solution and much better than it was, especially considering I've never tiled before (and never will again. Ever).

1 pointIt's was more like a Treehouse show rather than a conference. Theres nothing that came out of it, really. It was essentially a recap of E3. Microsoft must think European gamers dont watch E3 or something because most of the trailers were the same ones they showed back in June. The show just solidified my thoughts on just how far Microsoft have fallen since the 360 days.

1 pointThanks Hero I've just redeemed the code you sent me, much appreciated. Now I've got another reason to go back to the game before the Ultra versions come out, hopefully.

1 pointThat would be a first for Switch (and also really annoying since I've already bought all 3 already ). Hopefully that's the case anyway!

1 pointApparently, Jackbox party games are going to get a bundle price on Switch soonish. Saw it on their Twitter feed. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

1 pointI'm happy to see 16. Any fighting game gets better when you include Rocket Punches. In recent rumours, the website to this game seems to have some revealing URLs: Gohan's profile is listed as "gohan_y", likely short for "Gohan Young". This means Adult Gohan is practically a certainty; Buu is listed as "buu_z", likely short for "Buu Zen" (the japanese nickname for Buu-turned-good). So, at least one of the evil Buus (either Kid Buu or the taller Super Buu) is in; Finally, Android 17's voice actor has recently revealed that he's voicing him in this game. Apparently, he didn't have to sign a non-disclosure agreement. This does not confirm him as playable, because... ...17 seems to be part of 18's moves. This doesn't deconfirm him, though it hurts his chances. I personally think his recent return in Super spiked his popularity enough that he'll be in, even if he needs to be added later as DLC. So, as far as fighters go, the only shoe-in that hasn't been confirmed one way or the other is Gotenks. Anybody else they confirm for this game will surprise me.

1 pointMore characters have been announced. SSB Goku, SSB Vegeta, Android 16 and Android 18 have all been added to the lineup. There's gonna be hell to pay if 17 isn't in the final roster. Also, a 3v3 online mode mode where each person controls a character, making it a 6 player mode, was also announced.
