Dante Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 why aren't they chronological ? I dont know the reason why but i dont know if they go in that order as well.
Cube Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 LOL...I don't get it... He's referring to the RE5 trailer.
Falcon_BlizZACK Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 He's referring to the RE5 trailer. Oooooooh!....
Dante Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 New Videos. Montage Trailer Wesker Gameplay Trailer (RE0 & RE1)
Hero-of-Time Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 It's basically the white version of a nigger. Indeed. We watched a Chris Rock stand up AGES ago and he used said it then ( he does at every oppertunity ) and it was hilarious. So we just started using for anyone despite us all being 'crackers' ourselves. Just watched the montage trailer ( cheers Dante ) it was some good viewing.
RedShell Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 This is looking great. :awesome: Shame the Zapper won't be out in time for it though. Mind you there's only a week to wait for it, so probably just in time for a second play through (in-between some Crossbow Training).
Retro_Link Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Maybe all the chapters after the first main four are unlockable? Anyone think Capcom seriously upped their work on this game after the Wii's continued success and the fact Resi 4 Wii Edition has now shipped over 1,000,000 copies?! I wouldn't be surprised if it was originally intended to be just the first four chapters and it's since been seriously bulked up with the Wesker/Ada missions etc... and a better story. It almost seems a completely different game now to what was being talked about in the early stages [four chapters etc...]! It's looking AWESOME!
Dante Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 I think they go like this: Date - Chapter Title - Game(s) of Origin - Playable Characters 1998 Jul. Train Derailment - Resident Evil Zero - Rebecca Chambers, Billy Coen 1998 Jul. Mansion Incident - Resident Evil - Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield 1998 Sep. Kurtle Squad Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 He's referring to the RE5 trailer. Erm...Yeah, I named some kid in a Resi Trailer:indeed:
Retro_Link Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Yep looks like you have to unlock certain missions as you go through the main game. The first pic seems to show finding a new mission. In the second picture you can see the original four chapter folders along the top and then you unlock new mission within them. Can't wait to play the Ada, Hunk and Wesker missions!!

I have to say im more excited about playing as Wesker than any other character, hes just so cool and is easily one of the best bad guys ( IMO ) in any game franchise.
McMad Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Been watching trailers of this, it's looking pretty good, I'll wait for some reviews though before I decide if it's worth picking up.
Zechs Merquise Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 The snake is horrible, gave me the creeps. It was the huge spider that creeped me out, that thing was just far too realistic and moved in a scary way!
Dante Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Resident Evil Calender 08 RE:UC Month bandaged up Ada. Answer why Ada is looking like that.
Mokong Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Just realized i don't know when this game is out here yet.... i been avoiding this thread until it comes out but ... when is it out again
ShadowV7 Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 30th of November I think. Dunno whether to get this or Ghost Squad...
Hero-of-Time Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 30th of November I think. Dunno whether to get this or Ghost Squad... If you can only get one I would go with this as Ghost Squad is apparently very short due to its arcade history.
IMJ Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 If you can only get one I would go with this as Ghost Squad is apparently very short due to its arcade history. Ghost Squad is apparently very short if you view it as Start -> End. But doesn't that go for most of the on-rails shooters out there? I believe there are three missions in GQ, but there are multiple routes to take, which you can only get access to if played multiple times. Besides, there are tons of unlockables including modes like Paradise, Ninja, Panda, Virtua Cop. Some have different gameplay nuances, some are pure cosmetic. So there's definitely a lot of replay value in it. It's not a full price game either, which definitely makes it more recommendable. The icing on the cake is the 4P multiplayer mode, it'll be a great title to play on parties! Personally, I'm excited for both. So i'll probably get them both on the same day. Oh joy!
Dante Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Famitsu's Review: Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles 8888 = 32 * Difficult; even in easy, simple wandering enemies almost rise to the "miniboss" level * Multiplay is kinda fun * Most difficult bosses in a while * Lots of weapons, and it's fun just to blow things up * Zombie shuffling increases headshot difficulty * Pattern-learning helps to aim for weak spots * Practicing has a nice feeling of payoff Scans: Adas Ada vists a hotel called Apple Inn as well as the surrounding streets of Raccoon City. She's speaking to a man bleeding from the head with white hair. (Nicholai?)
Dante Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Funny thing is Ada was wearing pants in RE2. :p
