Haver Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp I'm sure we've done them in the past but these Typology tests are always fun to explore. I bring it up now because I found a little website which gives career advise based on the results of the test, and a lot of us are at that stage where we're looking to make career choices. It's actually pretty comforting to be analysed so accurately. Careers: http://www.personalitypage.com/careers.html I'm (INFP). I'm essentially a pussy Forgot my (possible) careers: * Writer * Counselor / Social Worker * Teacher / Professor * Psychologist * Psychiatrist * Musician * Clergy / Religious Worker

Supergrunch Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I've heard about these before- as Jungian personality types they're not pop psychology like most of the internet. I'm ENTP- basically lawyer, scientist etc. Edit: By the way, Munky... Einstein and Newton were INTPs.
Aimless Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 ISFP. I'm pretty sure they meant to put 'special' in inverted commas.
weeyellowbloke Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 ISFP. I'm pretty sure they meant to put 'special' in inverted commas. They do, 'The ISFP is a very special individual', actually reading through that again I'm actually quite scared how much a lot of that sounds exactly like me. I'm still a little sceptical of these personality tests though, but this one seems pretty accurate.

Konfucius Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I'm INTJ (Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Judging) or as kerseiy says Mastermind - I like that better And the Mastermind it too stupid to find the page where you got the 'possible careers' from.
rokhed00 Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Don't need no crappy test to know my purpose in life. I'm here to make evryone else feel inadequate.
gaggle64 Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 "INFJs are champions of the oppressed and downtrodden. They often are found in the wake of an emergency, rescuing those who are in acute distress. INFJs may fantasize about getting revenge on those who victimize the defenseless. The concept of 'poetic justice' is appealing to the INFJ." That's sorta in the right direction, though not quite there for me. I don't see the need for "poetic justice." Apparently I share these trates with Nathan the prohet of Israel, good ol' Robbie Burns and Billy Crystal.
kopo Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I'm an ENTP or a 'visionairy' Possible Career Paths for the ENTP: * Lawyers * Psychologists * Entrepreneurs * Photographers * Consultants * Engineers * Scientists * Actors * Sales Representatives * Marketing Personnel * Computer Programmer, Systems Analyst, or Computer Specialist Sounds about 73.6% right
