So, Gamer PALs, the comic I do for revo-europe, has been going for 11 comics now. So what I'd like to get from you, the readers, is feedback. Feeback about any aspect of the comic, be it the humour, the art style, heck, even the font if you wish. I'd like to gauge just how well recieved the comics have been so far, but all I've gotten thus far is one email. And it was rather... nasty.

So, what do you, the reader, think? And what would you like to see in the future of Gamer PALs?

I like it, so far my favourite was the one wher the 2 are arguing over right paddle and left paddle.. Not sure what id like to see in the future.. maybe a cameo from reggie or miyamoto.

It's a good comic, artwork is great and the humour is well suited to Revo-Europe and generally accessible to everyone who views the site. Do you clarify stuff with Revo-Europe before you create the comics or just do whatever you feel is suitable?

How do you create the comics? The artwork has a very digital quality to it that I like.

What are you doing writing to these forums? Get back to drawing the next one! NOW! :p

So yes, I like it.Totally agree on anything already said in this thread. You Could update it more often though :) But don't let the quality suffer.

I also like the comics a lot. I like the art style a lot as well as the humour. My fav comic so far was the animal crossing one - funny with a lot of truth.

Keep it up.

The two "There's One on Every Forum" ones were my fav, when the Gamer Pals discover the reason to the Gamecubes handle

(disclaimer: Revolution Europe in NO way encourages Gamecube owners to smash people over the head with their Gamecubes.)

It's quite good, the last one is my favourite so far (the tetris DS one). Just one small suggestion from me would be not to clarify everything. Had you left out the two researchers in the last panel and their text it'd have been more funny to me. Dunno how many people here like that kind of humor though :)

I like it, the 'origins' and the comic with bombermans updated look made me laugh alot.

I showed all my friends the reasons for the gamecubes handle, made them all laugh.

Keep it up! =)

They get a smile or a chuckle, but nothing's made me stream tears and fall over laughing yet. Nice art style though. In the one on the main page now, "then" is used instead of "than" on the last panel ;)

Your devotion is astounding, concerning and frankly terrifying Smalldude.

Other things concerned, the most recent Gamerpals is a great comic. Nice work. Where did the faked interviews originate from, out of concern? Was it over at HM-Fusion? That site cannot be trusted.

Hehe, QC cameo in the comic 7 and on the red head's shirt.

Anyway, the art is good for the most part, i also like the font you chose. Although that changed for a few comics to something much more plain, don't do that again.

On the funny factor, its hit and miss. Some comics have original stuff like the pong joke and the richard simmons tingle which I liked a lot. Other comics like the mario kart death race and the tetris jokes were obvious and not really funny.

Actually, the one I was referring to was the one from hyrule.net. HM Fusion tried a similar thing too, but they didn't go completely through with it. I considered naming the site, and the author (TSR) in the comic, but thought better of it.

Should I be nice or truthful? :(

You can be both, contrary to what eevilmurray would have you believe.

Critisizm doesn't have to be mean spirited. And it can include suggestions for improvement too.

I changed the fonts around tryign to find one that'd be most readable in smaller sizes. Whil I liked the older one, it wasn't holding up all the time. I've gone with the same one they use over at Applegeeks, since it works well at small sizes.

As for the humour being hit and miss, this is the sort of feedback I was hoping for. The mario kart death race one I totally agree with you, I realised a bit too late the reason I was enjoying it was because it was a mad max and mario kart crossover, not because it was actually funny.

The content is normally my discretion, but I sometimes ask the staff for ideas.

I make the comics in 3 steps: sketch on paper, inking on paper using a light board, and then scanning into the computer and colouring in photoshop.

Well i thought the last one was distastefull. i was not impressed. i have enjoyed every other one though. so i might just ask that more thought be put into it please.

Agreed. I think you need to achieve a little more consistancy. I've enjoyed some of the comics, but others have just seemed dull and predictable; and in this week's case, distasteful. Keep at it though.

I apologise to those who were offended by comic 12. It certainly wasn't my intention. I know I can't please anyone, but I'll keep it in mind.

Also, the predictable comments are helpful, encourages me to be more creative. Which particular comics were the most predictable?

I read a lot of web comics, so I kind of feel everything has been done before, nonetheless it's a pretty good comic considering all the webcomicd out there. Keep it up.
