  1. Zero Suits, not entirely SFW

Certainly not intended. And while I'll give the gun is unfortunately placed, the sword is half-way down her thigh.
  2. So why should only samus get to wear a zero suit? Also, there's finally a new gamer pals going up on the main page in a day or two. Yay?
  3. 1080 vs Cool Boarders

Coolboarders was incredibly unrealistic. 1080 had great physics, phenomenal graphics, and brilliant branching course design. Hands down flawless victory.
  4. Oh god, the surprise hard drive format. The nightware of all webcomic authors.
  5. Does this prove Wii's a fake?

It's best not to go around hoping wii is fake, you know. It's like setting yourself up for disapointment. The Playstation fans are doing the same thing by hoping for a FF7 remake.
  6. It's scientifically proven. Puzzle mode is a fantastic destroyer of spare time.
  7. Gamer PALs: Feedback Thread

Just found this that wraps it all up nicely. Also not the comment at the bottom of the page. http://www.noewatch.com/2006/04/fake-zelda-interviews-wont-someone.html
  8. Telly, all the comics so far are in this thread, with the christmas carol ones in the "comics" section of R_E.
  9. Gamer PALs: Feedback Thread

I apologise to those who were offended by comic 12. It certainly wasn't my intention. I know I can't please anyone, but I'll keep it in mind. Also, the predictable comments are helpful, encourages me to be more creative. Which particular comics were the most predictable?
  10. Gamer PALs: Feedback Thread

Actually, the one I was referring to was the one from hyrule.net. HM Fusion tried a similar thing too, but they didn't go completely through with it. I considered naming the site, and the author (TSR) in the comic, but thought better of it. You can be both, contrary to what eevilmurray would have you believe. Critisizm doesn't have to be mean spirited. And it can include suggestions for improvement too. I changed the fonts around tryign to find one that'd be most readable in smaller sizes. Whil I liked the older one, it wasn't holding up all the time. I've gone with the same one they use over at Applegeeks, since it works well at small sizes. As for the humour being hit and miss, this is the sort of feedback I was hoping for. The mario kart death race one I totally agree with you, I realised a bit too late the reason I was enjoying it was because it was a mad max and mario kart crossover, not because it was actually funny. The content is normally my discretion, but I sometimes ask the staff for ideas. I make the comics in 3 steps: sketch on paper, inking on paper using a light board, and then scanning into the computer and colouring in photoshop.
  11. does anyone know...?

I'm pretty sure it's "Game Over" too.
  12. So, Gamer PALs, the comic I do for revo-europe, has been going for 11 comics now. So what I'd like to get from you, the readers, is feedback. Feeback about any aspect of the comic, be it the humour, the art style, heck, even the font if you wish. I'd like to gauge just how well recieved the comics have been so far, but all I've gotten thus far is one email. And it was rather... nasty. So, what do you, the reader, think? And what would you like to see in the future of Gamer PALs?
  13. Low specs point to good news

I honestly think there will be nothing "special" about how the graphics are displayed. Miyamoto's comment about filling rooms is being taken out of context - he was talking about the distant future. The revolution is not going to be a freaking holodeck. It will, however, look very nice. Remember, a certain percentage of gamecube power is being used for non-graphical tasks: AI, physics, object tracking, etc. Much more power will now be available for purely graphical tasks when comparing rev to cube. And finally, "power", as has been said by others here, is not just a matter of clock speeds. It was irresponsible of IGN to imply this, and especially so to compare to xbox (comparing an optimised ATI chip to a simple celeron is borderline idiotic).
  14. IGN: Revolution Horsepower

Oh dear... wanna know a significant reason why no-one wants to trust the xbox in japan? It has a lot to do with the fact that a significant percentage of the launch xbox systems ate up game discs with scratches, and microsoft japan took a long time to replace systems, instead opting for sending new copies of the game. Because of this, it was hard to get many japanese developers to stay on with the xbox, which kept people away. Microsoft have a trust issue to get over.
  15. Final Fantasy 12 gets a perfect score.

Oh great, another FF game. Another 2 years of hell at anime conventions where every third cosplayer is going as the main female character (I've always been in favour of yuna cosplayer culling).
