My dad seems to be alright now. He colapsed on the floor and had to get the ambulance out and all crazy shit happened. But yeah, hopefully he'll be ok.

Resistance and Motorstorm I can easily recommend, they give a good idea of online what with having voice chat enabled in their games.

VF5 doesn't have online, it's a pure arcade fighter and so the producer doesn't want any lag messing with the gameplay. People study frames of animation in that game.

Feel free to add me. :)

Hmm, The PS3 is shaping up really nicely,i've been watching the PS3 Home and LBP videos from GDC and i'm really impressed, especially by LBP. Whats Game 3.0 they refer to, i haven't watched the whole of sony's keynote.

Whats Game 3.0 they refer to

It's referring to the worst classification scheme for games aver (which Sony made up)

Game 1.0 = Standard non-online game

Game 2.0 = Online mode, but it doesn't change in-game content

Game 3.0 = Online mode that alters in-game content

According to Sony, the DS is a Game 2.0 machine, and the PSP is a Game 3.0 machine. But I'm sure Animal Crossing on the DS actually classifies as a Game 3.0 game, meaning that the DS is a Game 3.0 machine.

I concour with you, as you can download content from other people's games, they can come in and plant seeds and such it would be a stupid 3.0 thing.

The latest issue of PSM has preview on Ninja Gaiden Sigma with their own hands on experience with the game.

* EVERYTHING was redone for Sigma: backgrounds, enemies, characters, animations, textures, etc. * Game will make use of the SIXAXIS in one way by helping to power up Ninpo magic while casting it

* Sigma will be 19 Chapters long, 3 more Chapters than the previous 2 versions

* A lot of the new stuff is when you are going to be playing as Rachel

* Will run at a constant 60 FPS with full self-shadowing and in 720p

* New difficulty level above the previous ones

* Still talking to Sony about what the possibilites are for downloadable content

* Karma ranking system/online leaderboards will be intact * Karma ranking/leaderboards will be improved upon by letting you view the results for a player's run through for specific chapters and how many times they died, etc.

Rachel Specific

* Features own integrated story missions and own mission mode levels

* Anything but a new skin for Hayabusa

* Completely separate arsenal of moves and all new animations

* Will have a different 'feel' from Hayabusa and will require a different way of thinking to play as compared to her counterpart

* Will still absorb essence and such as Hayabusa

Couldn't they just make a new game entirely. I mean i'd by a PS3 for a new Ninja Gaiden alone.

* New difficulty level above the previous ones

You've got to be sh*ting me, how much harder can it get?

Probably won't be any harder, I heard they were making the game easier, so the usual difficulty levels will be easier and the 'new' harder difficulty will be about the same as before, probably.

Thank god, just the possibility of a harder Ninja Gaiden makes my hands start to bleed all over again.

Power Smash Tennis 3 arrived today (Virtua Tennis), I only had a quick go but it's looking nice and thankfully it's in English. I used to love playing Virtua Tennis in the arcades.

What does everyone think about this?

I think they forgot to tell this guy not to say anything.

Mind you, I'm not sure if we'll see one anytime soon, and they can't really 'upgrade' the hardware that much from the current PSP. I'd guess a slight relocation/refinement of the controls, some kind of built-in storage, and maybe a clamshell design to protect a more energy-efficient screen.

Cynamite.de, german gaming page got their euro PS3 and tested how good the EUR PS3's backwards compatibility is in reality. Well, not surprisingly, it wasn't very good at all. From twelve tested high profile games, only Eragon worked. Rest asked to wait for patch. Here is list complete list of tested games:

- God of War

- MGS 2: Sons of Liberty

- MGS 3: Snake Eater

- Shadow of the Colossus

- Guitar Hero 2

- Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones

- Okami

- GTA: Liberty City Stories

- Eragon

- Final Fantasy X-2

- Ratchet & Clank 3

- Lumines Plus

Not yet, but to be honest the sixaxis controls on other games are a complete waste of time. I hope they bring back the rumble soon.
