Come and go as many times as you need to as well, I'll likely not be at my console but I'll stand next to the shop and keep an eye if any communication problems!

Thanks @Kaepora_Gaebora! I've never had to use a Dodo Code before. Presumably the difference between a Dodo Code and just visiting an island that has its gates open is that the owner of the island doesn't need to be online?

It just means that anyone who has access to the code can join his island, rather than just people on his friends list.

I just did a quick smash and grab. There were two fellas loitering around outside Nook's Cranny so I hope I tipped the right one! (I was the guy in the raincoat. It has been tipping it down all day on my island.)

If they don't end their conversations then it starts a timer, if the timer reaches 0 then you will leave but it forces the instance to reset to the last time a save happened. Honestly never noticed a timer. Seemed like I was instantly standing in the rain again outside my airport.
