The developer playthroughs are a hugely effective way of selling you on a game after the initial reveal!

It's worked on me for Captain Toad and Xenoblade.

Not so much for what I'm seeing of Hyrule Warriors though.

Very good show IMHO. It's a shame so much of it is 2015 but that was true of MS and Sony too (and at least it was actual game footage rather than CGI all over the shop). So far we've had, what, 10 Wii U games we hadn't seen before, a couple we've seen a lot more of and a couple of demos? Above and beyond most expectations I reckon, at least quantity wise. It was also presented well and with humour.

Bayo 2 having the original bundled is a great idea.

X looks superb.

Hyrule Warriors looks better than I originally thought.

The Toad game looks great, I really liked his levels in 3D World.

The Yoshi game is very pretty and Kirby looks good though probably could have been in 3DS.

Mario Maker wasn't a surprise but looks nicely realised.

Very good all round

Hylian Warriors looks a lot more involved than your typical Dynasty Warriors game :) I like how they've implemented Zelda gameplay elements like the areas and shortcuts that you can only get to when you have the Hookshot, or the enemies that you can beat by using it or the bombs :)

OH MY DAZE!!! DAT MOON!!!! :o

Fantastic work Nintendo, going all out this E3.

I wouldn't be surprised to see MS and Sony copy the Treehouse demos for their own shows next year.

Have to say of all the E3 offerings Nintendo's is the one that has genuinely enthused me overall. Feeling pretty positive about the future, even if most of it isn't until 2015.

was that 9 character slots......oh my please have some gone ones (Goron link plz)

Yep, that was, and each character seems to have different weapons to choose from

I'd be very surprised if there wasn't a playable Goron and Zora in there somewhere.

Hi I've just got home I have missed the treehouse so far, just put on to hyrule warriors , what have I missed before ? Where can I re watch Thanks
Started with Captain Toad,

then Splatoon,

then Shigsy showed off his two concept games Project Giant Robot and Project Guard (I didn't really watch these)

And now Hyrule Warriors.

I'm not sure if there are any repeats around yet or not.

Loving this approach. General consensus is similar. It feels like you are at E3. Fabulous and completely focused on games. No ads/celebs/buzz words. Just pure gaming. :awesome:

They are certainly selling me on Splatoon which I initially dismissed.

Wait hang on?

Where is all the 3ds stuff?

Or is there none? *scratches head. :wtf:

Wondered that too, hope they do announce more stuff tomorrow. I'm not kidding at this point - where's Dragon Quest VII?
