Daft Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) Such excitement. Edited March 12, 2014 by Daft
Agent Gibbs Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 i feel like the suit looks too baggy, certainly in the second shot, but then the whole Tobey Maguire smug face from Spiderman 3 is off putting in that entire shot...was he stifling a laugh? i hope its as good as Arrow
bryanee Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 It doesn't look as good as it did in the promo pic. The should of gone for a brighter red colour.
Ashley Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 It doesn't look as good as it did in the promo pic. The should of gone for a brighter red colour. A show like this will go through a heap of colour correction in post. I don't doubt it will end up looking like the promo image.
Magnus Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Starring Sheldon Cooper? Don't pretend like you don't recognize him from Glee.
Retro_Link Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) Sheldon was in Glee? :p Costume looks pretty decent. A bit Daredevil 2003. Edited March 12, 2014 by Retro_Link
Ramar Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 A bit Daredevil 2003. Was going to post that, followed by "it looks crap".
Cube Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 I'm quite curious how different this will be to Arrow. The character seems more suited to a more lighthearted show with most of his enemies also having superpowers. Then again, all I know is that he runs fast.
Shorty Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 I think it was a mistake to make this a show of its own. The character doesn't translate well to mid-budget television. Perhaps if they aim to make just one series it could be ok. The origin in Arrow was brilliant though.
EEVILMURRAY Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I hope that crappy skater jump isn't how the Flash is really going to jump, if he's going super fast I want Samus-esque flips. I'm also curious how this will be all that difficult when "The Blur" was in Smallville. I shall run fast and save lives.
Shorty Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I hope the Flash super speed is nothing like it was in Smallville. I don't want thunderclap sfx 20x per episode. They should look at the way Faora moved in Man of Steel for inspiration during action sequences.
Cube Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 They need a fight scene from the perspective of The Flash, where it looks like he's moving normally, but everyone else is in slow motion.
Shorty Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 (edited) That was pretty much Smallville's gimmick for 11 years, although not the effect I was referring to in my post. Eg - skip to 2:20 Edited March 13, 2014 by Shorty
EEVILMURRAY Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 They need a fight scene from the perspective of The Flash, where it looks like he's moving normally, but everyone else is in slow motion. Very Sherlock Holmes-esque.
Shorty Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Nice, apparently there'll be a trailer after the Arrow season finale this week.
Retro_Link Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Why is he concerning himself with that corner... just straight line everything dude. Looks cool.
Daft Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 Forgot to post this. Love the adjusted colours of his costume.
Shorty Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Not sure it was necessary to enhance the lippy colours too though :p
Daft Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) Ha! No that you've pointed that out he looks a bit silly. Dolled up. Edited May 13, 2014 by Daft
bryanee Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Soooo goooooooooooooood. One thing I'm worried about is the special effects. I do hope they have a good enough budget throughout the shows run.
