Wii
RUMOR - Mario Kart 8 data reveals Neo Bowser City and Baby Park Some clever people looked into the data of Mario Kart 8 and through the list of tracks. In here, they found some names and their streaming audio. 3DS_NEOBOWSERCITY = 3DS Neo Bowser City GC_BABYPARK = GCN Baby Park WU_ANIMAL = Animal Crossing WU_METRO = ? WU_WOODS = ? This is not a full on confirmation, considering Nintendo has not made any announcements, but there seems to be a chance that Baby Park is returning for DLC Pack 2! http://www.gonintendo.com/s/250957-rumor-mario-kart-8-data-reveals-neo-bowser-city-and-baby-park http://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?t=1028248

Wii
Metroid Track and Samus, Whispy Woods and Kirby confirmed! As mentioned over in the news story, Whispy Woods is the name of the boss. The actual area is just called Green Greens. And METROID could have fitted in as its code name if that's what it is. I hope METRO isn't another Toad's Turnpike type track. Ronnie
Probably an underground subway track where you have to dodge trains. The other is probably Wiggler Woods or some such
Wii
I thought I had wrote a post about the upcoming DLC, I mustn't have pressed the send button. Anyway I asked what were people predictions for the upcoming tracks? I think there'll be a Starfox track and maybe a Splatoon track. It would help promote the new ip. Also, I think it's strange that we've seen so little of it, only the Animal Crossing track. We seen far more of the first DLC pack by this stage. It's less than 2 weeks away from release. Cube
I hope METRO isn't another Toad's Turnpike type track. I'd be very happy with a good Toad's Turnpike-style track. The N64 version was brilliant.

dazzybee
That's obviously the woods track... I would love tracks of splatoon and star fox, I think we could get a star fox one, but not a splatoon one. Hope we don't get anything silly like a Sonic one or anything! Baby Park would make me so happy! Neo Bowser City was a good track and can imagine it looks utterly stunning in HD

Wii
I'd like if we could have the item in reserve back as an option. It would be a simple patch. If they would fix Battle Mode it would be hands down the best ever MK, until then regardless of how much I think it's brilliant, I refuse to give it that crown. For someone who complains about the item balance, I find it strange you want to have two items at once back. I'm telling you, that's why 1st place always got away in previous games. Wii
Mario Kart 8 - 200cc - Mute City The rumour about Neo Bowser City and Baby Park tracks being part of DLC Pack 2 is fake. 2 retro tracks confirmed for the second DLC Pack *MAJOR spoilers* http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/700050-mario-kart-8/70566489#1 DLC pack 2 levels http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/700050-mario-kart-8/71579110?page=1 The person involved admitted last week to making the whole story up. Did nobody else notice that there's no music playing on Mute City? Are Nintendo going to give us an option to mute the music and maybe a few other selection choices? Wii
It was about time, with it being barely over a week from release. Looks real nice and the rumour wasn't wrong after all. Mario Kart 8: Baby Park GCN Head-to-Head Comparison (Wii U vs. GameCube) Music recordings for the new DLC tracks Going to stop posting now. Only seen the main video, didn't notice the hidden spoiler tags. The new track Metro track is called Lingling Metro not Rin Rin Metro. Though that's probably how the Japanese would pronounce it. Absolutely stunning. The visuals on some of the new tracks are just insane, it's almost unbelievable what Nintendo are able to achieve on such modest hardware. But why they gotta show all of this when there's still a week to go? Big Blue. They be trollin' :pI actually think this all but confirms a new F-Zero is in the works running on the MK8 engine. View post in Miiverse I guess Nintendo do listen...sometimes. All the updates look good. Very happy with more stamps being added as well. Maybe if you posted that a week ago last year they listened. All the tracks look terrific. Ribbon Road and Big Blue being the most exceptional and spectacular. Never played Neo Bowser City but I watched old videos before and I agree with the lads from GameXplain, it's the one dud in the pack and had hoped the rumour of its inclusion weren't true. From 1 to 8 in terms of favourites subject to change of course. Ribbon Road Big Blue Animal Crossing Lingling Metro Baby Park Nature Road Cheese Land Neo Bowser City Edit: Oh and why would you want more stamps? They're beyond useless. No harm I guess but I don't need nor want them. Edited April 15, 2015 by Wii Automerged Doublepost
