S.C.G Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 ShopTo should hopefully be taking pre-orders for this tomorrow. http://www.shopto.net/news/44452/Bravely-Default-Deluxe-Collectors-Edition-details-coming-soon
V. Amoleo Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Another retailer exclusive? Ouch. I'm betting it'll be £60-£70.
Debug Mode Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 That thing is looking like it's going to be expensive D: Time to reduce the amount I eat..
Hero-of-Time Posted October 24, 2013 Author Posted October 24, 2013 A fantastic collectors edition once again spoiled by the stupid green square plastered all over the front of the box.
Andyliini Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Blame Germans, they still haven't accepted PEGI as their rating system. If they would, things would be so much easier to do. But then again, that marking doesn't really bother me, so I'm fine either way. I just have to get this edition. Think I'll skip the A Link Between Worlds box this time.
Tamazoid Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 (edited) Confirmed for Australia! I'll be able to enjoy it without the ugly European classification labels. It's $150 AUD though (About 90 pounds) Edited October 24, 2013 by Tamazoid
Tales Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 If I can find that CE anywhere over here I'll buy it, and that without knowing anything about it, not even an image.
Tamazoid Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 If I can find that CE anywhere over here I'll buy it, and that without knowing anything about it, not even an image. There's an image at the top of the page. Australian image (Exactly the same except the ratings logo).
Tales Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 (edited) I meant the game :p I don't know anything about the game beside it being an rpg. That picture of that CE is why I'm suddenly interested in the game. It got to be good. Edited October 24, 2013 by Tales
-Dem0- Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 It's £99.85 http://www.shopto.net/3ds-2ds-ds/3ds/3DSBR03-bravely-default-deluxe-collectors That's a definite no from me.
Ike Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 My not-sure-if-want-to-pay-that-much disease is kicking in.
Agent Gibbs Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 I meant the game :p I don't know anything about the game beside it being an rpg. That picture of that CE is why I'm suddenly interested in the game. It got to be good. Scan the thread, trailers are awesome, it looks like final fantasy 9 crossed with the DS FF remakes and elements of all the other good RPG's recently Its more "Final Fantasy" than any recent final fantasy released by SE
Hero-of-Time Posted October 24, 2013 Author Posted October 24, 2013 It's £99.85http://www.shopto.net/3ds-2ds-ds/3ds/3DSBR03-bravely-default-deluxe-collectors That's a definite no from me. Haha! No way i'm paying that.
yesteryeargames Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Thats really annoying if its shopto exclusive, I want to order 2 but i cant because of their 1 per customer rule. Are they really going to be that limited at that price.
Debug Mode Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Yup, I fucking love the game but I'm not touching it at that price.
Ganepark32 Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Not one for going out of my way for collector's editions but would have happily picked that up (along with a 3DS) on release if the price wasn't so shockingly high. Admittedly, it may be an alright price provided the statue and artbook are of a high quality (and I do suspect this will be rather limited in its distribution given that only Shopto are listing it so that may well be the case) and the soundtrack CD doesn't have a smattering of tracks as we know the game is pretty lengthy and is the 'For The Sequel' version. But yeah, still not touching it at that price. Rather annoying as I was happy when Nintendo said they would be bringing a special edition in the last ND.
-Dem0- Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 That does look nice but the price is too high. I'm just happy that we're finally going to get this game.
Ashley Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 You'd have to bravely default on your credit to buy that collector's edition. athankyouandgoodnight!
Sheikah Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Just been looking into this. Old school Final Fantasy, a long game... and more than a smattering of the tried and tested 'EXP'? Yes fucking please.
gmac Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 collectors edition is now £79.85 on shopto so slightly better :p
S.C.G Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 collectors edition is now £79.85 on shopto so slightly better :p At that price, I'll take ten! :p No but seriously, pre-ordered... for now.
Debug Mode Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Ha, they've already lowered the price? I think if they lowered it another £20 I'd slam a pre-order down, but it's out of my range at the minute. It's a shame the thing is exclusive to a single retailer, lack of competition doesn't work out for consumer. Beats going to GAME though admittedly.
Agent Gibbs Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 £100 god lord no!, £80....maybe if i use my £20ish credit.....pre-ordered, for now, might end up on ebay if the price skyrockets, but at that price i suspect it will be hard to shift
yesteryeargames Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Are game still offering the art book ?
Mr_Master_X2 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Looking forward to this game. My OCD has kept me playing quite a lot of RPGs for some years now (I do the occasional one, but PSOne days I went from rpg>rpg>rpg almost on a weekly basis) but this just looks too much like a classic RPG to turn down, plus I really enjoyed it's spiritual precursor Four Heroes of Light. Just wish SE would get off their arses with DQ7/DQM1&2.
