heroicjanitor
Calling someone a weapon must be a complement though surely? It sounds powerful. I can see the similarity with tool but a tool seems different to me.

Aimless
I've heard "weapon" used as an adjective before, albeit only within a fairly small window in the late '90s. It had a positive connotation at the time, though. To give an example of usage, someone might remark that, "That's well weapon!" Shortly before my withering stare reduced them to ash. Aimless
I first came across it before that show was even written, regrettably, but thanks for reminding me where I'd heard it more recently. Also, "beast" was another word that tried to usurp "cool" for a time. It failed, just like all the rest.

MadDog
It's not a word or phrase, but it has to be said. Deal or no Deal. Fuck me. It's disgusting.
EEVILMURRAY
The only time epic can apparently be used: http://thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=epic However, if it used by the right voice it can be acceptable. For example Patrick Stewart in the Money Supermarket ad.

Though when you 'beast', it normally means when you're doing very well at something.

The Bard
Yeah man, Maddox functions on a staunch unwillingness to accept utterly trivial things, and his rhetoric is lapped up and taken as serious argument by his idiot fans. EEVILMURRAY
Well that website is bitter, angry and not funny. Never said it wasn't. But it's true that people use epic in non-epic situations, such as the examples he cited.

Paj!
Just...can we just get over the little things? This thread is bringing me down. Maddox was too much. I might have to make another forgotten RnB singer of the early 00's thread to combat the negativity.

Shorty
But... there's a difference between having a 10% chance of succeeding and a 50% chance.
heroicjanitor
I see that, it's just a description of how big your chance is. It's still a chance. Dyson just doesn't like having descriptions of how big the chance is for some reason
