Oxigen_Waste Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 We had a thread like this a while ago. Don't remember the name, but somebody will point you there soon. Awesome stuff is awesome.
Guy Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Dude, awesome thread... but leave some shows for someone else.
MoogleViper Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I'm not sure if I'd classify children's TV as classic TV. Especially ones from the 90s.
Jonnas Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Boy Meets World! Loved that show Unfortunately, you also mentioned pretty much everything else I liked to watch, too Even Doug!
Guy Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Mad kudos for reminding me of Even Stevens, Ryuk. Transformers Kid's sister Ren was hot in that.
Jon Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Have to applaud the effort gone into making the thread. That's all though.
The Peeps Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Too many for me to mention but Boy Meets World was a fantastic show. They don't make 'em like that anymore. Thanks to the magic of the internet I was able to watch every episode a couple of years ago. It's not lost any of it's charm.
EEVILMURRAY Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 We had a thread like this a while ago. We had two I believe. One expressing love for our favourite cartoons from our youth, then one about retro intros* but the point still stands. We seem to enjoy bringing these back up. Even if the majority of our efforts have now been pissed on by the original post. Transformers Kid's sister Ren was hot in that. Fuck yeah. Shia was (and still is) a little sod. If I ever caught it via channel surfing. She would be my reason for staying. Not a patch on Alex Mack though** *May be in error with this descriptions. **MAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!
Coolness Bears Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 In The Night Garden! What's that it's still on? I don't care it is golden television. Take the little sail down, Light the little light. This is the way to the Garden of the night...
Ryuk Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 (edited) why you swearing for? and not all of them are cartoons even though they were classics. Some more... Jamba Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I'm not sure if I'd classify children's TV as classic TV. Especially ones from the 90s. Yeah can we get the title changed maybe? But I'm also with Moogle about the 90s thing. I think it's more about when you grew up. I don't think that there are many shows that people would watch out of the context of childhood and say "that's fantastic". Can I suggest that we expand this concept to discussing whether shows like Family Guy and the Simpsons are really kids shows but aimed at a broader audience?
Ryuk Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 Erm i think people have missed the point, a lot of these shows they do not show anymore, or have remade and turned them into crapness. Hence why a lot of them are classics, does it really matter what age group these come from? I don't think it does.
ReZourceman Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Mad kudos for reminding me of Even Stevens, Ryuk. Transformers Kid's sister Ren was hot in that. Wanna see her tits? Google "Mirrors 2"
Guy Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Wanna see her tits? Google "Mirrors 2" This just became the best thread ever.
Beast Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Thank you for that important information, ReZ! I did watch the show when I was younger because of her. I remember making a thread similar to this though but I think mine was about 90s cartoon shows I think. The point is, there's only been two and, yeah they might have been made not long ago, how was Ryuk supposed to know that? Personally, I think the thread is awesome because he's reminded me of some awesome shows that I haven't finished watching. I was recently reminded of this: ...one of the greatest cartoons ever made. EVER! I never missed an episode until Cartoon Network changed the damn times!
