Raining_again Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 I've always thought it was dee-ay-go >_< st00pid!
Jon Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 It's disgraceful how little I probably know about the people here considering how long i've been around, but i'll it give it a shot. Fierce_LiNk Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Chuck - Byker Grove Hahahaha. I was tempted to put that down for either him or Caris. I thought they were mates in real life, but apparantly they're not. Illusion...shattered.
Diageo Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 I wasn't sure, it might have been "Di-agg-eo" or "dee-uh geo" or something. Whats it from? Or is it your name? My name is Diego [Dee-ay-go] (Gee-eh-goh in Brazil) Diageo is a alcoholic drinks company, people call me it sometimes as they think it is similar. The tag line for the company is "drink sensibly" and so many people randomly say that to me too. Now it has changed to "Go Diego Go" I've often misread it as Diaego. In my mind, "dee-ai-ay-go" sound a lot more awesome. I'm not even sure how that sounds :S I've always thought it was dee-ay-go >_< st00pid! That is what my real name sounds like. :awesome:
Raining_again Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 That is what my real name sounds like. :awesome: So i'm officially awesome for knowing then... haha way to pump the ego man!
Diageo Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 So i'm officially awesome for knowing then... haha way to pump the ego man! You are basically a Psychic genius who discovered my real name from my cryptic username. All this was done subconsciously, that is how good you are.
Jimbob Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Jimbob: Welsh You'll be surprised to hear that i am actually English, but from living in Wales for a long time i have picked up the accent, as those who met me at the meet will tell ya, to be fair. Jimbob - Caldicot/Drunk I was expecting nuts, but hey. And more surprising is, that i am actually sober right now as well to be fair!!
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Dannyboy-the-dane - Wally What? I'm not even sure how that sounds :S
Jimbob Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 @ Danny, liking the cheery, yet simple "bye" at the end.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 You remind me of Wally/Waldo? I'll take that as a compliment, I guess ...
Cube Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 You'll be surprised to hear that i am actually English, but from living in Wales for a long time i have picked up the accent, as those who met me at the meet will tell ya, to be fair. Most people I know call me Welsh due to spending most of my life living there. I often forget that I'm actually English. Cube: Gaggle64 gaggle64: Cube I'm Gaggle and Gaggle is me? but if I'm Gaggle then I'm also me, but also Gaggle. So where does the original GaggleCube come from?
MoogleViper Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Hahahaha. I was tempted to put that down for either him or Caris. I thought they were mates in real life, but apparantly they're not. Illusion...shattered. I thought they were brothers or something.
Caris Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 (edited) Haha! No we're just very good friends, we live 2 minutes from each other. Edited August 2, 2010 by Caris

Shino Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I'm not a native English speaker but, but I'm quite impressed with your fluent speech and, what seems to me, a perfect UK English accent.
Raining_again Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 You can tell he's not a native native British speaker because he actually talks properly, most of us can't :P
ReZourceman Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 You can tell he's not a native native British speaker because he actually talks properly, most of us can't :P Its true.
Ashley Posted August 2, 2010 Author Posted August 2, 2010 You can tell he's not a native native British speaker because he actually talks properly, most of us can't :P A Dutchman in Nagasaki actually said "I find it difficult to understand you because, unlike all other English people I've met, you speak properly" ^_^
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Wow, thanks, people. I was a little suprised myself after listening to that video as I really didn't realise just how British I actually sound even when I'm not trying to! :p Oh, and Happenstance, you should totally change your name to Happystance!
