Pantsu Man! Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 There's gonna be so many Mario Kart 'inspired' tracks it'll be unbelievable. I fobbed it off when they said driving game but it looked pretty fun.
Hero-of-Time Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 One of my favourites out of all of the shows. The ease of it all looks really appealing. I know he probably wont see this but RedShell would love this game due to the ability of making just about everything in th egame.

Hopefully Uncharted and God of War as well as other new titles could persuade some Wii owners that haven't gone multiplatform that PS3 is actually good and worth owning. That was at the start of conference and it seemed like Sony delivered.

darkjak Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 This is just like Joy Ride, which is just like Mariokart. Only addition is the possibility to edit stuff. The level editor seemed fun, but I'd rather see it in a game like Flatout. If I had a PS3, I still wouldn't buy this!
jammy2211 Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 IT's not from the guys behind LBP. It looked fun, I'm not sure a racing game can contain the genius and creativity that LBP showed off though. Sort of feel like I'd get sick playing the same racing game over and over again... waiting for 4 player local multiplayer to be confirmed.

Daft Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 I though it was a bit meh, kind of cute and then they talked about the track editor. Epic. Looks easy to use as well and there should be plenty of environments. Also the physics look great. One of the weapons was like a hail of rockets and it looked awesome. I just haven't been impressed with the last two console Mario Karts (really, you can't get better than DS) but this looks like classic fun with a massive customising twist. I love the lighting.

Have ideas already :p Yeah think this is the greatest thing about this looks so simple and easy to do. It makes it more easy to use and intuitive than LBP, makes it more accessible for the masses and for me will mean I spend far more time with it. I liked their expanding of the Play, Share, Create. They could easily branded this as an LBP product I think but Kudos for them to for creating what seems like another loveable set of characters in their own universe.
