Kirkatronics Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Do you still watch cartoons made for the little ones? I sometimes do but they dont seem as good from when i was younger. Some of them are just bad, like Iggle Piggles or wahtever (scare the hell out of me).

Some of them are just bad, like Iggle Piggles or wahtever (scare the hell out of me). I think it's "In The Night Garden". Anyway, I sometimes catch shows like Wow Wow Wubbzy, Harry and the Bucket Full of Dinosaurs, Peppa Pig and Lazytown with my brother and sister (they're three and seven).
Ashley Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 In The Night Garden is pretty scary. But after rewatching an episode of the old Sonic cartoon a year or two ago and my ears bleeding from him constantly saying "I'm waaaaaaaiting" I have concluded they're all rose tinted.
S.C.G Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Most kids TV is shit nowadays Imo and will never touch the awesomeness of the Kids shows of days gone by... Sharky and George 'nuff said.

I like the ones for slightly older kids, like Ben10. I just enjoy that show, i cant explain why. In The Night Garden is pretty scary. But after rewatching an episode of the old Sonic cartoon a year or two ago and my ears bleeding from him constantly saying "I'm waaaaaaaiting" I have concluded they're all rose tinted. I wonder if they had to change the Fat Controllers name to be PC? OoooH! Captain Scarlet, anyone remember that? I can only remember 1 episode, the one where they had to go through 'thick air'.
Cube Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Dunno what ThomasTheTankEngine is like nowadays, but I think it's changed quite a lot. It's new story - some silly educational part - old story.
S.C.G Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Sonic SatAM was much better. Notice how the sun literally shines out of his arse at the end of the intro: Hell yeah, that show was awesome, seeing that intro has reminded me just how much so... 'Sonic... he can really move, Sonic... he's got an attttituuude, Sonic... He's the fastest thing Aliiiiiiiiiiive!' Pro stuff. : peace:

I can only remember 1 episode, the one where they had to go through 'thick air'. Yeah I used to watch Captain Scarlet and Stingray, but they couldn't compete with Thunderbirds in my eyes! I absolutely LOVED Thinderbirds!
Kirkatronics Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009 Yeah I used to watch Captain Scarlet and Stingray, but they couldn't compete with Thunderbirds in my eyes! I absolutely LOVED Thinderbirds! I didnt enjoy Stingray, or Thunder Birds. I also hated scooby doo.
EEVILMURRAY Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I wonder if he was Irish? The name fits and he was green. I have all the Bucky O'Hare's on doovdé and most of the Jayce's on... ¬_¬ something. When rewatching Bucky O'Hare, I realised how lazy they were, stopped by a 30cm fence? Call Willy. Anyway, I sometimes catch shows like Wow Wow Wubbzy, Harry and the Bucket Full of Dinosaurs, Peppa Pig and Lazytown with my brother and sister (they're three and seven). YEAH.

Coolness Bears Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 *Hovers finger over 'instant ban'* I hated those scary ass hippo's, creepy girl and kangaroo?... That's what made it so good! it was the creepiest most depressing show I saw as a Kid, it was brilliant.
Goafer Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Not my favourite as a kid, but I love the theme tune nowerdays. Twangy bass is rad. Plus some more: I vaguely remember watching this as a kid: And recently bought 2 dvds of this:
