Retro_Link Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Sounds great... IGN Hands-On http://uk.wii.ign.com/articles/986/986199p1.html
James McGeachie Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 All the screens look very nice other than the space suit one which sadly looks like ass.
darksnowman Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 All the screens look very nice other than the space suit one which sadly looks like ass. Haha, I looked at the screenshots earlier and thought just that! I didn't want to be the one to say it seeing as I always find it easy to criticise these "mature games."
Retro_Link Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Wait... you mean they're not just doing the old inflate a condom over your head trick!?
Zechs Merquise Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 All the screens look very nice other than the space suit one which sadly looks like ass. haha, indeed! They look like they've got plastic bags over their heads. What is going on? Otherwise the screens look great.

STOOPIDDITTIES Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Got really bored watching that level walkthrough :\ I'm still not sold on this at all. I'll get it for cheap when it's been out for a while but until then i'll hold out till Darkside Chronicles.
Retro_Link Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 (edited) IGN - E3 demo walkthroughThat approach to the ship at the start sure dragged on a bit, and what's with that Melee attack?! But seems to have good interactivity, path choices, puzzles etc... Edited May 28, 2009 by Retro_Link
STOOPIDDITTIES Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Can someone explain why this isn't an FPS? EA have a sense of humour it seems.
or else you will DIE Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Can someone explain why this isn't an FPS? seriously....watching that walkthrough, its such a shame.
Fierce_LiNk Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 The section where the helmet is put on, and you can see the reflection of the character's eyes. Reminds me of Metroid Prime. This is looking really sweet. It definitely looks like something that could scare you. For gamers, it will seem a bit of a shame that there is no control for the character, but I'm willing to let the developers show off some more first before I come to a full conclusion. They seem to be concentrating on the tension and build-up, so maybe part of their thinking is that this would be lost if the gamer had total reign? Who knows, but I want to see more of this.
Zechs Merquise Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I really want to watch all the new info, as I'm hyped for this. But at the same time I'm forcing myself to stay away due to the spoilers on a whole level walkthrough
Dante Posted June 30, 2009 Author Posted June 30, 2009 (edited) US and PAL boxart! "let me poke you!" Edited July 4, 2009 by Retro_Link
markderoos Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 I'm kinda baffled why they didn't just use the same image for both as they look almost identical... Why would they?
Retro_Link Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Worth a watch: Co-op puzzles like the one in that video are a nice idea!
LostOverThere Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 The control set up actually seems pretty good as is. Though, again, a little part inside me screams "let us configure our controls as much as in The Conduit!" But overall, I still don't know about this. On-Rails games are always so much of a let down, so I'll have to rethink this one. I guess it all depends on when it comes out, and what I've bought recently. When is the release date again?
Owen Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Looks good, but with the busy period starting september, i can't see myself buying this immediately. I kinda lose interest in on-rail shooters once played for a few hours and can't see myself playing them too much again, so i'll wait for a price drop...unless something amazing happens with it of course!

sumo73 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Even though there's only slight differences I prefer the US box art.
