ReZourceman Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Right, this will take you between 1-3 minutes. I am going to make a YouTube video compiling everyone, so if you don't want to be on YouTube then this isn't for you. The task All I want you to do is say rather loudly "COLIN MURRAY" in Colin Murrays accent. Heres a video with him in if you don't know his accent. Okay, I hope I get a lot of people submitting. Please send the video to [email protected] kthxbai.
Raining_again Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Oh dear, I dunno how many people here can put on a good belfast accent.
Ollie Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 I might give this a go.....you going to be sending it to Radio 1?
EEVILMURRAY Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 The question on everyone's fingertips. Why.
Jimbob Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Oh dear, I dunno how many people here can put on a good belfast accent. I don't know if i can, but i could give it a go and practice. The question on everyone's fingertips. Why. Ditto
Rummy Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 What'd be some good free software with which I could do this using my webcam, presuming I wish to get involved?
ReZourceman Posted January 2, 2009 Author Posted January 2, 2009 Windows Movie Maker can record straight from webcam. PS the reason is simple....there is no spoon.
Letty Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 KAY MATE!!! *goes off to co-ordinate a multi-person extravaganza*
ReZourceman Posted January 2, 2009 Author Posted January 2, 2009 *goes off to co-ordinate a multi-person extravaganza* Excellent. Always count on Letty on these fun things.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Windows Movie Maker can record straight from webcam. PS the reason is simple....there is no spoon. You sure know how to convince me! I'll get this done soon ...
ReZourceman Posted January 2, 2009 Author Posted January 2, 2009 I might give this a go.....you going to be sending it to Radio 1? Not a bad idea. Not a bad idea at all. Thanks for the interest so far folks. I won't let you down.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Here we go. I dunno if I got the accent right, but to be fair it is hard to get an accent on two words.
ReZourceman Posted January 2, 2009 Author Posted January 2, 2009 I CAN'T WATCH IT FOR TWO AND A HALF HOURS! NOOOOOO! I NEED IT NAW!
MoogleViper Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Oh dear, I dunno how many people here can put on a good belfast accent. I can. My Irish accent is quite good if I do say so myself. (Ok it's more ROI but I'm sure I can work on it.)
Coolness Bears Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Here we go. I dunno if I got the accent right, but to be fair it is hard to get an accent on two words. I'm not sure why but I watched this 5 times in a row! Your eyes a crazy! (in a good way. ) : peace: I like your eyes. :p This post is not going anywhere so I'm going to...

(in a good way. ) : peace: I like your eyes. :p This post is not going anywhere so I'm going to... Heh, thanks. I have been complimented on my eyes by females in the past, and they do say that a guy's eyes are the first thing a lass looks at. Oh, and ReZ: IT'S GREAT! TOO BAD YOU CAN'T WATCH IT NOW! MUAHAHAHA!
Mundi Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I shall try soon when I have a moment in peace I must use someone else´s laptop for this and I don´t want to explain why I´m yelling at it.
nightwolf Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Here we go. I dunno if I got the accent right, but to be fair it is hard to get an accent on two words. ^_^ I laughed for a while.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 ^_^ I laughed for a while. Then my life has not been in vain.
Roostophe Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Dannyboy: I thought you sounded a bit more Scottish than Irish, accent seemed very husky compared to the "Norn Iron" twang I'm much more familiar with. Oh, and the eyes! Bwah! Freaky Danish eyes!
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Dannyboy: I thought you sounded a bit more Scottish than Irish, accent seemed very husky compared to the "Norn Iron" twang I'm much more familiar with. Oh, and the eyes! Bwah! Freaky Danish eyes! I always found it hard to point out the differences between Scottish and Irish. I believe I'd be able to hear the difference if compared to each other, but when simply hearing an Irish/Scottish accent I find it hard to determine.
Raining_again Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Bloody hell Dannyboooy, that's an awesome attempt! You got me laughing too
Ashley Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 I always found it hard to point out the differences between Scottish and Irish. Irish are drunks, Scottish are backwards. Oh accents? Scottish is more phleomy (cant be bothered to spell that correctly), its more at the back of the throat. (p.s. disclaimer; my family are scottish and I love the irish so don't fret :p)
