There's no such thing as 'centrifugal' force, that's a basic year 10 error you've done there.

10. On a elemental basis, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Carbon and Hydrogen.

12. Water Displacement

12. Water Displacement

Bored now. I'm guessing some of these questions are QIesque red herrings, but hey. Wiki/googling these isn't hard :P You say to do it without googling, but if you don't know the answers what do you suppose we do, go to the library?

Some are QIesque, but all are from memory, so they might be wrong.

Ill post the answers when i see most of them getting an answered.

Im suprised no one got number 2.

19. Scotland, not Ireland.

Neither of them, but it is the same place as stilts were invented.

3. The Queen :heh:

6. If this is indeed the same as the place where the kilt came from, then I believe it's either Greece or Persia.

9. Probably about 36 years old or something.

14. It doesn't have one. It's just a statue. It was supposed to inspire hopes and desires into the head of immigrants who saw it when coming to New York but now the first thing they see is a giant pink elephant.

19. Greece or Persia. History has it all wrong in thinking we Scots came up with the kilt.

Sorry about the rather aggressive manner, and the lack of an explanation.

Centrifugal force is a fictitious force that proposes that things travelling in a circle experience a force outwards.

Centripetal force exists, and is a force which bodies travelling in a circular motion experience towards the central point about which they are travelling.

Ill just keep giving little clues out as to which ones are right.

~If thats correct fish, my answer for that one is wrong.

Eenuh, you were right about number 2 =]

No one had got the kilt/stilt question correct yet.

Kilts and stilts was Holland. The land around there is very low lying and prone to flooding and so farmers came up with stilts to get around their flooded fields.Kilts were invented so they had something to rhyme with stilts in their songs.

14. Was it a lighthouse beacon?

5. Due to some bizarre definitions could it be the chickpea?

3. Drowning?

2. Is it a marmoset?

All the above are complete guesses and I'll be surprised if any are right.

I know for a fact that kilts came from a country in or around the mediterrean or in the middle east. For some reason, they had nothing to do with the Celts. But if I rememebr correctly from watching QI, it should be Persia even though you've said it's wrong.

I know I already (wrongly) answered the "kilts/stilts" question, but...France, maybe? It had to be somewhere with celts, right?
