DomJcg Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Domjcg will be there, whether he wants to be or not. Because thats not the creepiest thing i've heard since some person texted me in one of my lectures saying he enjoyed watching me...
EEVILMURRAY Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Darn those members who delete them accounts, only join again when it suits... So what's the confirmed date? 22nd/23rd/other?
Raining_again Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 I'm gonna have to pass on this one, can't afford it after Christmas unfortunately!
ReZourceman Posted December 10, 2008 Author Posted December 10, 2008 Okay its settled, December 22nd. If we don't settle on it, this could just go on and on, and we don't have a huge amount of time to organise.
MoogleViper Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 What would be happening? It's winter so we can't do what has been done on previous occasions.
ReZourceman Posted December 10, 2008 Author Posted December 10, 2008 What would be happening? It's winter so we can't do what has been done on previous occasions. Drinking/talking/erm.....
Pookiablo Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Drinking/talking/erm..... What he means to say is that we all bundle into a pub, preferably a spoons of some sort as it's cheap. Then we all proceed to get utterly battered and discover 3/4 of us are fucked as we've missed the last train... I think it's definitely a worthwhile venture for us all!
Eenuh Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Aww poo, again no N-E meet for me then. *shakes fist*
Rummy Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Right. So it's the 22nd, St.Alban's Spoons, what time?
weeyellowbloke Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Oh man, if this was during term time it would be a simple 30 minute train journey for me. Hmmmm, I've always wanted to do an NE meet and seeing as I'm a). In the country for this one and b). Have a little spare cash I might be able to make it. Put me down as a maybe ReZ and I'll see how things pan out.
Molly Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 No can do, I'm working monday, tuesday, and wednesday for that matter. I'm sure if there's one in the summertime when the weather is fine, I'll be all over it.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Can't come, either, seeing as I'm in a different country.
Eenuh Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Can't come, either, seeing as I'm in a different country. Even more annoying for me... I'm actually in the country a week later. =P
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Even more annoying for me... I'm actually in the country a week later. =P Last time, I found out afterwards that I actually WAS in the country at the time!
EEVILMURRAY Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 I could try getting the day off. Because if I start work at 6 there's no point in me coming.
ReZourceman Posted December 11, 2008 Author Posted December 11, 2008 Wowza, EEVIL that'd be sicko. Sickie! Sickie! (If they don't allow day off)
jayseven Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 22nd eh? Well I'm due to be back in brighton on the 21st, so I could make it for the next day. Depends on how long it'd take to get there/back and what we'd be doing to make it worthwhile... Even more annoying for me... I'm actually in the country a week later. =P Whereabouts in England will you be hitting up? Just checked fares and times and stuff -- if I got there at 1pm and left at, say, 10pm, it'd cost me roughly £20-£25 and take 2 hours each way (to st albans, that is). Gimme a time and a promise that someone'll grab me from the station, then I'm all-but-there.
The fish Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 22nd eh? Well I'm due to be back in brighton on the 21st, so I could make it for the next day. Depends on how long it'd take to get there/back and what we'd be doing to make it worthwhile... Get on the train to St Pancras/Bedford in Brighton, and stay on it. Once you've gone through London, providing you get the speedy train, the next stop will be St Albans
Eenuh Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Whereabouts in England will you be hitting up? If I'm correct, I'll be staying in Brighton. =)
Jav_NE Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 I'm heading the opposite direction the day before and will be in birmingham on the 22nd, so i wont be there i'm afraid. These meets are always in rubbish places :p
Jimbob Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Darn it, could be tricky with me having to find A. Time off (not a problem, am off work already from the 19th) B. Finances - I.E. a place to stay, tickets to get there from South Wales etc. C. Other plans - May already be busy So for now, a maybe and i will let you know asap
Ramar Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 A local meet, hmm very do-able. Would I turn up, questionable.
