Hmmm. Episode 1 was pretty great. Episode 2 not so much.

I'm not a big fan of time travel in anything, but it actually seems okay in this.

Massive lol @ Neil. "Oh look a character who everyone knows the name of but has never been in it before. If he has another line it seals his death."

*Has another line*

Watched the first two episodes last night and well, didn't really love it. There didn't seem to be a lot happening...? Dunno, it just lacked something- maybe I just don't like seeing Jack as a washed out, hopeless character. We need to get him back to the Island and back to leadership, dammit.

To be fair, he has been referenced since Season 1 and was in one of the Lost Missing Piece episodes...

Has anyone remember the first series episodes and spot the two answers?

Please explain...

I thought it was a decent start, i like how desmond is becoming more important, hes a great character. Will be interesting to see how far back/forward in time they go. Will we see the black rock crash? Rousseau's research team arrive? The building of the 4 toed statue? :D

I liked the start because it felt very lost-esque -- very confusing and self-referential. I disagree with what someone said about lost not being very rewatchable - I don't think it's worth rewatching season 4 when 5 hadn't started yet because you're not really watching it with any new 'answers'. I rewatched 1-3 after I finished 3 and I found it extremely rewarding to see how the focus shifts.

I thought it was funny when Juliet was telling Daniel and co about the hatch. She said about a man named Desmond who used to live in there and press a button every 108 minutes to save the world. She had a rye smile on her face and it sounded so naff... yet it was so important when he used to do it! Lol.

Locke time-jumps, and meets Ethan, an Other, and says "I'm going to be the new leader of the Others." Ethan shoots him, and then he disappears right in front of him. So Ethan runs back to camp, and for the next several years the tale is told of a man named John Locke who will come to the island and be their new leader. So it's a circle. They want Locke because Locke told them they want him.

The other is Locke lost the movement in his leg when walking with Boone to the drug plane and Locke all of a sudden had his leg give out and he couldn't walk again. The reason is because his body remember the pain from getting shoot at the same place.

Claire? She's cardboard... She's one of the worst characters! Why the hell are you even bothered?

Faraday's awesome, though.

Well, in all honesty, I'm more interested in Emilie de Ravin than in Claire.

Nice spot there on those things Dante. Pretty cool that they are explaining things from way back like that.

Dude good call!! Didn't think of that

Also,

When the losties went looking for I think maybe Claire or summat in Season one or two (possibly following the black smoke rising from the sky) and only found a fire with footsteps all around it, that might have been from when the time jumping losties made a fire then jumped away. Or ran away. Ok that's poorly explained, my Lost knowledge has dropped in the past year or two.

Wasn't Locke puzzled that he followed the 2nd footprints path which stopped when Ethan managed to kidnapped Claire?

Hmmm:

I dont know if that explains it really Dante. I see where your coming from but Alpen has been looking for locke for a long time. I can see a situation where Locke meets Alpen far back in the past and thats the reason why he goes looking for young locke in the future but i dont think that the 1 meeting with Ethan would do it.

As for his leg not working right at the drug plane crash i thought that had been explained already. The island stopped his leg from working right so he didnt climb into the plane and die...

Watching back will be interesting and seeing if there is anything that links with this new time jumping element to the series. The only ones i really remember is Jacks dads body dissapearing and the 2 bodies with a white and black stone on them.

So nobody's mentioned Jacob. Nice easy solution = Locke is Jacob, or someone is. What about Alfans Halo or whatever the fuck his name was, and his kiddy. Is the kiddie someone important? Are we going to see him again in some jumpity jump? We must do, considering we saw faraday near the construction of the hatch as wossisface walked past. N'stuff.
