Chris the great Posted November 20, 2008 Share Posted November 20, 2008 Trophies will probably be the same won't they? trophies are available on the game, so i dont see why they would be any different. just a side note, i dont see why so few games go for trophies. i mean, a simple patch and DMC4 would be perfect for trophies, even valkaryia chronicles has a trophie esq system in it, but no real trophies. i look like i suck with just a few drakes fortune trophies. I would have to agree with that; you feel like you're on autopilot most of the time. Saying that though, the gameplay flows majestically with the aid of that women, and the combat is really good. Choze Posted November 21, 2008 Share Posted November 21, 2008 I quite liked the demo to this. The presentation is nice. Voice acting is cheesy(western cheesy not japanese cheesy) in a good way. Elika saves you whenever you fall, but i like it because i'd hate to die and be sent back to some shitty checkpoint. What i mean by that isn't based on the platforming, that's all rather cool and intuititive (a little too on-rails at times with mere button presses required at the right time, but meh), but when it comes to battles you really cant lose because you cant die. Elika saves you should you get in a predicament and the only resulting factor of your failure is the enemy gaining a bit more health. There's no sense of "aha, i kicked your ass!" because its inevitable that you will win eventually, even if the fight is a long one. There are tactics in battle (using the right attacks when enemy changes) and sweet combos which keep them interesting, but i just find it a bit lame that you cant die. Takes away the challenge. Still, level design is awesome and the scenery is breathtaking. Some more puzzles would be nice. I've had two pretty good ones so far but thats not many considering i'm over half way. The Prince and Elika have some good banter through the game too which i like. They have made me chuckle on quite a few occasions (just now he accused her of looking at his ass, she denied it of course before taking a blatant peek when he turned around haha).
