I know Dutch, English, French (though I'm not that good at it), a tiny bit of German, and now I'm studying Japanese. It's very likely I made some mistakes in the above Japanese sentence.
Guest Jordan Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I can only read and speak English... Well, kinda English. Its more like Yorkshire shite, but i try my best.
stev2604 Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Speak English obviously, and I can speak a fair bit of French and Irish. Doing both of them at the moment in school. моя iм'я є стефан. I tried to find a translator for that, but it said their not Ukranian? So I chanced Russian(don't ask me why), and it came out: my i o. º Stefan I'm guessing you're saying your name.
Will Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 At the moment I only speak English. I have GCSE's in French and Spanish but I can't remember a word of them. I'm currently doing a bit of self taught Japanese and will also start some courses through work in it when they start back up. Hopefully that will lead to a few interesting work opportunities at some point down the line.
Guest Stefkov Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I tried to find a translator for that, but it said their not Ukranian? So I chanced Russian(don't ask me why), and it came out:I'm guessing you're saying your name. It is Ukrainian. 'My name is' .... it's saying. Russian and Ukrainian are alike, but there are some differences.
Shorty Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 it's like "lol" for the japanese, it's short for わらう (laugh). More Ws = more laughs. see it on BBS everywhere.
stev2604 Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 It is Ukrainian. 'My name is' .... it's saying. Russian and Ukrainian are alike, but there are some differences. Evidently. I must have just used a crappy translator.

Supergrunch Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I can manage basic French and German, just enough to get by on. 我是學講普通話 (I think that's right. Im learning to speak it, not write it ) Hmm, must learn some Chinese some time, I fail to see how it works.
Konfucius Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 My native language is german. Then I can obviously speak, write and read English. My French also used to be somewhat acceptable but I'm totally out of pratice. I can also read Latin and say the most basic things in Italian.
martinist Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I tryed to teach myself chinese by watching those wierd shows on the BBC learning zone at 3:00am. I failed, mostly because i was tired.

stev2604 Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I'm fluent in Irish and English, and have a basic understanding of German. Fair play for being able to become fluent in Irish.
