Wait....The Thomas Crown Affair...2?

I loved the first one (really really want to watch it again, I was watching it a few weeks ago and got near the end and the DVD just died and won't work any more so I was so pissed off) but a sequel is going to be pushing it. And will it have Pierce Brosnan? If not...they better have someone good. He was very well suited to the role.

Equilibrium is an amazing action film. Seriously.

It was unforchunatly written before the Matrix, but released after thus the story is kinda... used. But, the over all acting and action fits really well.

It's one of my favourite movies, it's simply awesome. I don't know if I could say I prefer it to the Matrix, but if I don't, it's not that far off in my tastes.

Yeah Matrix just adapted a common element of film and made it more complex. I think cos it was used in a mainstream film, it made it seem that bit more groundbreaking.

What Matrix did if I'm not wrong was having cameras filming "360º" around a scene in addition to the slow motion instead of one camera doing a circular motion.

Noooooo! Sympathy for Lady Vengeance US Remake!

Director PARK Chan-wook is admired nationally and globally. Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron is also one of them. According to The Boston Globe who interviewed the former model, Theron will produce and star in a remake of Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, PARK’s final instalment of the famed vengeance trilogy.

Sympathy for Lady Vengeance won in 2005 two awards at the Venice Film Festival, the CinemAwenire and the Little Golden Lion, and Korea’s leading Blue Dragon Award for best film, among others. LEE Young-ae plays a framed convict who meticulously plans her revenge while keeping up a charming and friendly demeanour. Her ultimate goal is revenge on CHOI Min-sik’s character. CHOI himself went on a revenge rampage in Old Boy, which earned PARK the Grand Prix at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival.

In The Boston Globe interview, Theron lengthily speaks about strong female roles. Theron’s beauty got her noticed in Hollywood, but she went on to produce and star in challenging productions, including Monster which earned her a Best Actress Academy Award.

They weren't filming. They took still images. A method first used for 360º slow-motion shots in the 1890's.

Not too suprising though. A couple of years ago they were on about remaking "Oldboy" with Nicolas Cage in the leading role. Thank god that one seems to have fallen through.

Nicolas Cage? Nicolas fucking Cage! I´m thanking god every day now for the rest of my life for that not happening. I hate Nicolas cage

I hope it get´s stuck in development and ends up being canned

Fuck. Showing in sheffield early june... not sure if I'll be here. Probably in brighton. Showing in brighton at the wrong time, too, as I'll be in sheffield... Last option is to go to see it in Leeds in May at the cinema that is literally around the corner from my ex-girlfriend's house.

Fuck.
