Today was the straw that broke the camels back, pretty much: got in trouble for coming in "late" even though I had checked the rota yesterday when I started and it hadn't been 10.30 - apparently they expect me to check the rota every day, evne when I'm not due in, just in case! This argument lead into an argument over everything else thats pissed me off over a period of months so I decided to just fuck it and leave. Emptied my locker, left the key, and walked out without finishing my shift. Wouldn't have used the place as a reference, so why the fuck should I bother? We supposedly quiz every sunday, then some people pull out, some people don't reply to texts (looks at a certain forumite), some people seem baffled by the question "are you going to the quiz tonight?" (their response; "why are you asking me? I don't organise it", and no yes/no), some people say 'maybe' then never respond again, some people say "depending if this person or these people go" and leave it up to me to act as middle man and see if they're going. I don't even want to go out anymore, but now I have to because one person is already on his way there. And it gets complicated because if there are 3 of us, we can't join my friend's flatmate's team as there'll be like 10 people, but if there are only two then we will join the other team, and I'm not drinking tonight so I'll be sober and awkward and paranoid and Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Lame bastards. *also secretly suspects that everyone is already at the pub, and this is all a scheme to have fun without me. Paranoid, yes.* That's better. Now to continue to not drink tonight. Really unhappy with conclusion, its so short and I would have liked to have elaborated a bit more and mentioned a few other points but I would go over the limit, they set the limit of 6 pages so theres no chance of sneakily going over it either =/ Going to have a nice little go at Empire: Total War since I haven't been able to since release day! Chatted on the phone to my friend again who is juggling more men than she can handle. I watched 3 BSGs; I'm so angry with a certain Dr right now. Went into town on Tuesday so there was no need for me to go in on saturday or today other than for a baguette yesterday and even then that was about a 15 minute walk there and back. Did a bit of work today on an assignment but didn't do anything too strenuous as the week ahead is going to be filled with report and essay writing. Been thinking about Uni and realising how close I am to the end of the year for some of my subjects. 2 weeks on thursday and I'm finished Psychology for the Summer. Likewise, the day after I have a month off before my Genetics exam and I actually don't know when my English module finishes. Haven't paid attention to the lecture list. Seems to have gone really, really fast. Time flies when you're having fun, eh? Have to start thinking about what I'm going to do with myself during the summer seeing as I'll have like 4 - 5 months of nothing. Hoping I'll find some form of work although pickings have been very slim lately and I'm not expecting them to get any better due to the mess of the economy. Can't do any travelling as I have no money and I won't be going on holiday so guess I'll have to make my own entertainment. Perhaps I'll start up my art again properly and do some writing. Other than that MadWorld which is becoming increasingly difficult. Finished the second section (and thus first half) of my dissertation (and only 1500 words over). Apart from a now botched sleeping pattern to take into next week, very little that's what. Still, that was my choice so I shouldn't complain. And I'm only in four days this week and then I'm off Friday and the following week. Now we have a full house again, with my brother being home that is, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to relax. There was a reason why I never missed him in all the time he's been gone and now he's back, I'm just waiting for him to go again.
