Sure, there are those who get paid well and enjoy it blah blah (though not many to be honest), but what of girls in Thailand and such, girls who are trafficked into prostitution, girls who are bannished or even sold to sell their bodies because their parents were ashamed to have given birth to a girl and not a boy. I guess my point is we dont see the effect the western point of view on porn has on other parts of the world. And yeah, i know prostitution is very different to pornography, but its the same principle of selling your body for money. I read a book on it my gf gave me and it changed my opinion entirely. Yes, it degrades women. But it also degrades men. And, porn is the total opposite of prostitution. The former is a choice, and something that is enjoyable, for the viewer and 'actors' alike. Prostitution isn't a choice. It is rarely enjoyed. In fact, I'm actually rather offended how you can compare something as light minded and enjoyable as porn to something as sensitive and unenjoyable as prostitution.
