That's horrible. I think the first "2" (for want of a better word) is supposed to represent England as well, as "London" is written in roughly the right place. This doesn't redeem the horrible thing though. (in fact, it may well make it worse)

Can't say I'm a fan either. Apparently the logo will "evolve in the run up to the games." Lets hope it's a different animal altogether by then.

Although I suspect they mean it will just change colour a few times. You know, to reflect its 'dynamism.' :indeed:

Well i like it. It's different. Look at the reaction with 'Wii'.

It seemed a complete mess at first but my gosh calling the Revolution the Wii was a huge success and this will be the same, the logo to me looks very futuristic, totally different and doesn't feature the cliche stickman, hugging a world with loads of flags etc...or something like that.

It's got everyone talking and everyone has a opinion on it, so it's done something right.

The name Wii was awful then, everyone still hates it now.

This logo is dire now, it will be dire later too.

The radio said someone thought it was Lisa Simpsons doing something unspeakable.

That logo is awful, how did that ever come to be created?

Everything about it is terrible, the colours hurt my eyes.

If they keep it i'm leaving the country.

*packs his bags*

They have five years to sort this mess out. Get to it.

Link or it didn't happen.
Apparently the original was removed... hence why there's a screencap instead of a link. I never saw it myself though so I can't vouch for whether or not it was ever there....

If you read the BBC 606 site they say an image was pulled. My guess is, it was that one.
