Just to point out

- The game DOES have support for the Classic Controller

Start the game with the Nunchuck, then swap it with the Classic Controller

and

- You get the laser pointer with the Classic Controller, Not the big cursor.

I know a lot with HDTVs, and a lot who don't. Also many who do have HDTVs don't actually play their games on them, but have a regular TV in another room for games.

got 3 wiis in the house all setup on hdtvs of different size and standard, and they all look stunning to me, also have had them setup on a decent SD tv and the difference you get on a HDTV is quite allot to me and i dont think i could go back.

Also, just unplug the nunchuck to play with a GameCube controller. (you can then pull the batteries out of the Remote and carry on playing with the Cube controller).

As far as I know the problem why Wii or any other SD console doesn't always look good is entirely the Tv's problem because their internal upscaling chip suck ass.

Also, damn choicesuk havent shipped my game yet

CRT HDTV FTW!!! :heh:

I'm really enjoying this game so far.

The controls are responsive and aren't complicated at all and i learned the controls with in a few minutes of playing. Proving that Eurogamer fail at Wii games!!!

Aiming with the Wiimote works very naturally for me and i find the controls a lot easier than the Cube version. :D

The Graphics are the same but having not been exposed to much to HD they don't look that outdated to me and still look great.

The core gameplay is still excellent and as i have not owned or completed Resident Evil 4 before i'm looking forward to doing it with the Wii version which is awesome.

What makes it better is that i got it for the price of 18.50.

Any one else playing this on a HDtv with HD cables?

I'm getting some wired gfx bugs [small spots with different colors]

I get them but there not very visible, you have to look hard to see them.

crap port i guess.

:) Truly the ultimate rendition of this wonderful game. I need a Wii, as soon as I move to my new place I'm getting one. Although, my GF will kill me if I buy one before I get a new bed lol

Capcom Reveals Low Resident Evil Expectations

In Capcom's 2007 fiscal meeting, Kazuhiko Abe, Director and Managing Corporate Officer, stated the company only expects to sell 420,000 copies of Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition worldwide and 620,000 units of Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles.

Hope they are proved wrong!

Gah! *Edgeworth's "beaten" pose*

I just checked play.com for my orders, and they're still "processing" RE4. ½ of my orders are already in the mail, along with the Wiimote Power Station I bought... But it'll take almost another week for the zombies to arrive. Also, I recently bought a 42" HDTV and split the cost with my brother, so... I'm expecting a good arcade shooting feel to this one ^^

Wow, this game still looks good and true widescreen is really nice.

I never expected aiming to be so smooth and the button layout is really intuitive.

I'm suprised how much of the levels I remember from the GC version.

Where on the head do you guys aim for the headshots though? I seem to get them by chance not skill with the handgun. Although I aim on the head they usually just turn away a bit.

Well i changed alot of my TV settings today and it looks a bit better, but in all honestly, the GC version looks better to me overall from remembering, although i could check and compare i suppose.

Still i honestly don't mind now, as it's just fantastic to play through again.

I agree Konfucius i seem to be remembering alot of the game as well!

I thought that aswell, I may check later.

Is it just me or are the enemies harder to bring down in this version? I unloaded like 8 headshots with the handgun then the guy finally died.
